Yeah the answer is not to move OG it's to trade FVV, get a playmaking PG, and change the offense.

OG is reportedly unhappy with his role here and possibly wants out. That's why people are discussing a trade for him. Honestly, you're not going to find a player with the AST:TO ratio that Fred has. I'd love to have a prime CP3 on this team but there isn't one available. Playmaking isn't the issue on this team. Scottie, Pascal and Fred are all good-great passers. What we do need is more shooting and shot creation in my opinion.

I actually think it will be good if we can get some young pieces back for OG that can contribute right away. They won't demand the ball as much as OG does and would likely fit a bit better offensively because of it.

Maxey is coming off the bench right now in Philly.

There is a reason for that though.

With Melton starting they are better defensively. And doesn't need offensive touches so Harden and Embiid can just play the 2 man game play after play and kickout to Harris, Melton.

Then Maxey comes in and is immediately unleashed to push the offense and score for himself while Harden and Embiid get rest.

It's about better team balance....and in the end of the game plays 30+ minutes. But they don't waste Maxey minutes watching Harden and JE play catch.

Just like when Gary was coming off the bench or playing with the bench, he would immediately be all about him getting his own shots.

Just because you'd shift the offense into a more ball-movement oriented one doesn't mean that Pascal wouldn't get his ISO touches still. Every team utilizes ISO to an extent. It for sure doesn't mean we need to deal Siakam, especially now.
