Actually that is a wrong statement.

He has parts of his contract, that are based on his playing time and availability. Also the last year is only 5 mil guaranteed.

I believe, that his backproblems have been already known, but were managable. Only during training camp it got worse.

Well if he is being honest...this team is in solid shape.
CMB and Mami can comfortably take all backup 4/5 minutes... Hell I'm okay with Yak and CMB sharing starting 5 minutes.

IQ/Shead
RJ& whoever out of Dick/JW/Martin/etc
3-5 spots covered with Barnes/BI/CMB/Mamu

Using RICE on sprains is antiquated thinking and unacceptable (unless it's minor and the player wants to return to that game)

I know nothing about the raptors intertwining... just guessing based on how he coaches and comes off when he speaks. For all we know, he could be hardcore behind the scenes lol.

Little improvement in his back again makes me think Poeltl will need surgery at some point. It's why I was hoping that the FO drafted a young big to grow behind Poeltl. Now more than ever do we need a young C on this roster.

I’m pretty much assuming that if he’s on the team post trade deadline he’ll be having surgery
