Watching Dinwiddie is eerily similar to watching DeMar..definitely better looking 3 point consistency though.

Dimwiddie reminds me more of longer Reggie Jackson, personally. He seems much faster with the ball in his hands than Demar. I think he has legit 6th man potential. He looks like can provide that spark and that instant O that so many impact combo guards of the past have. Some team will be happy they nabbed him second round. I just hope he ends up on a team that's in desperate need of what he brings so he gets a legit shot.

Wow he is eerily similar to DeRozan.

We would have to find him a better nickname than "the mayor" if he ends up playing here though.

Kind of cool that Dimwiddie's father is Neil Degrasse Tyson. Actually, that's not true at all but it would be awesome if true.

Dinwiddie does move quite similarly to DeRozan. Much better passing instincts and court vision though, that's for sure.

Dinwiddie also is a better passer then Demar. I've seen some of his pre draft interviews and he thinks of himself as a 2 way gaurd. I wouldn't be opposed to having another SG who is able to pass the ball.

Grow up. I specifically asked about Thanasis and you provided another general link to this scam, so, a phrase you should live by is "people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones". And since you never have anything of substance to provide to any thread I've ever seen you post in, welcome to my ignore list.

His attitude during the interview at the combine made him look like Kobe to me. Obviously he's not Kobe, but I like that attitude. If he seems himself as a killer it's better for his game. He's part of the reason I'd take Inglis at 20 because I want both and if I can get Inglis at 20, then Dinwiddie at 37 I'll be partying all night long.

Just re-watched DX's vid. I see what you're saying about Demar on a few of those transition buckets and spins. The footwork and speed there are all reminiscent of a Derozan. As the video progresses I see less of that and more speedy layups, passes and pull-ups that remind me more of a longer Lou Will/Regie Jackson mix than Demar.

He is a very confident guy and would probably become a great second round pick up. I hope we could get another pick in the second round so we could get him and Inglis.

My concern for Inglis is that he will withdraw out due to his placement. He has said in the past he will withdraw if he isn't seeing much opportunities with teams.

If Inglis withdraws I'll be saddened, I hope a guy like Stauskas drops in that case but he's probably going in the lotto, maybe even the top-10.

I'm sure this has already been posted, but now I'm worried about how confident Masai is in Lowry re-signing

This is just due diligence. If Clarkson is the BPA at our pick we need to know. Plus, there will be more workouts.

It is strange that the Raptors aren't really bringing anyone projected in the 20 spot to town (except for Kyle Anderson). So far lots of candidates for the 37 and 59 pick. Wonder if Masai already has plans for no. 20 like trade up or trade out.

It could also be likely that they already have a number of guys targeted at #20 in a certain order depending how the board plays out. So they want to make sure they do their research on the later picks to grab a talent.

The Toronto Raptors had a fantastic 2013-2014 season. They finished 48-34, won the Atlanta Division and were within a final Kyle Lowry shot that was blocked by Paul Pierce of defeating the Brooklyn Nets in game 7 to advance to the second round of the playoffs.

The Raptors obviously want to re-sign Kyle Lowry, who is set to become an unrestricted free agent, but first they will have to focus on the 2014 NBA Draft. The Raptors have been most often associated with former Michigan State Spartans’ power forward Adreian Payne.

Well, a lot of it depends on what happens with Lowry and Vasquez in free agency. They need to figure out their point guard situation first and foremost. I think they need some additional depth on the wing. I’d like to see them add another scoring threat. It’d be ideal if they could snatch up a Nik Stauskas or James Young, but I doubt they’re still on the board. Amir Johnson was great for them this season, but if the aforementioned wings are gone, I don’t think they can pass on Adreian Payne. He’s just too good. I don’t think Salmons and Hansborough are going to bring anywhere near that kind of return, unfortunately for the Raptors.

Payne measured in at 6’9.75″ and 239 pounds with a very impressive wingspan of 7’4″ at the NBA’s Scouting Combine. He averaged 16.4 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game while shooting 50.3% from the field, 42.3% from beyond the arc and 79.0% from the free throw line for the Spartans last season.

Article on why we shouldn't pass on Payne. I'm not a big believer in the guy with his lung issues but I found it a good read.

Shut up man, people are talking about the draft. Nobody gives a damn about your insecurities and need to spout your impressive knowledge of the combine.
