In the first he was dominating Ayon offensively. When they tried to post him up, JV almost always got himself right underneath the rim, which resulted in him scoring or being fouled. Also, he hit a mid range jumper again! Of course it was after he pumpfaked, but still, he hit it! The next time when he was standing in pretty much the same position with the same amount of space available, he still pumpfaked, which resulted in Ayon not giving a crap, and then he just passed it back. Defensively Ayon was shut down and I think the only time he got scored on it was after pretty good post defense.
