I think Ochai has always been a confidence issue. He was buried in deep line-ups and expected to contribute right away. Just couldn't put it all together.

Glad he is panning out. But still not sure he is a contender starting player material. Maybe if your team is stacked at all other positions. He definitely fills sort of a KCP type of role. Probably someone worth re-upping for like 4 years at 30-35 million type of deal. I still see quickly as being the piece we will question in terms of longer term fit.

Still can't believe someone said Agbaji was a nepotism acquisition

We acquired Kelly and Ochai for pikc #29. I feel like no one would say that was a bad deal anymore

Starter and heavy rotation minutes are one in the same to me. Personally I think he works better in theory as a "starter", but more importantly the POA defender needed in the starting lineup.

In an ideal world they draft and elite wing this summer and have both him and Agbaji in the starting lineup, with Dick & Barrett as the first two off the bench.

Ochai is a keeper. Highest Win Share in this team this season and doesnt need high usage to be effective.

He's a definite keeper.

Should be starting for us next season.

Starting Lineup:
Quickley
Ochai
(Flagg or Bailey)
Barnes
Poeltl

Bench:
Barrett/Mitchell
Dick/Shead
Walter/Battle
Mogbo/
Olynyk/Chomche

We're gonna be a playoff team next season. That depth is GREAT.

It never was a bad deal. It was a smart risk with a solid basis in value.

Legend. Perfect support player. Keep him at all costs.

Yup...calculated move to get 2 assets for 1.

Get the guaranteed rotation guy in KO while also getting a guy they had lots of film on who they thought could be better than pick #29 on it's own.

Great was to add playable depth to a team that really needed it.

Side note...I love that he can dribble and get to the basket without falling down unlike OG....lol.
