JV always with the bargain contracts. I was hoping he'd get a nice pay day.

Shout out to Jakob, currently averaging 16 pts & nearly 11 rebounds a game in the young season so far. Hopefully he and Siakam can reignite their rookie tandem some day down the line.

The untold story of why PJ Tucker got cut from the Raptors...
He's real and accepts total responsibility...so respect to PJ. Very interesting. PJ didn't have a bad thing to say about the organization. He took it on the chin and it was a wake-up call for him...so I guess it all worked out for him after all.

I know Lowry hasn't typically got off to the quickest starts, but he is shooting 27% from the field and 14% from three-point range while averaging 7/4/7 in 31.5 MPG. I haven't caught any Miami games yet, but hopefully he picks it up soon or he's going to be getting some serious slander when Miami likely slumps a bit during their upcoming two-week stretch of tough games.

If they do, they are dumb.
First, while on the court hes a +18.1 NET, +7.8 NET differenttial from off.
Bam/Jimmy are both negatives.
While Kyle is on the court, and the both of them are not they are a +34.4 in 14 mins. Meanwhile in 45 mins with Jimmy/Bam no KL, -0.3.
This is what KL does, let the other guys flourish and be the ultimate team guy.

Just checked out TDII's PER, it's -2.95. That's NEGATIVE 2.95. I didn't even know that was possible.
Who did we draft with that 2nd round pick from Sacramento? Oh right, D-Rex.

JV re-upped for two more years with the pelicans. Shame, cause looks like they are a dumpster fire.

Nah. His numbers were low, but his effectiveness is unmatched at pg for us. There is a very clear difference when he's on the court vs when he's not. He commands the whole floor on both sides of the ball; barking orders to everyone. Maybe he has a lot of hockey assists. He just.....fits perfectly. It's hard to explain if you haven't watched the games. When we get Oladipo back, Duncan will likely go to the bench and Herro will play next to Lowry; Herro plays his best when Lowry is on the floor with him since he can solely focus on scoring.

Don't worry. We don't need to have watched any Heat games to know exactly what you're saying here. We watched Lowry be the most important player on the floor for 8 years.
But agree that non-Raps and now Heat fans will never fully understand his value without sitting down and watching him consistently.

Yeah, we know lol. And I didn't mean my OP as a "Lowry is garbage" thing. More along the lines of "if Heat fans are remotely close to Raps fans, they'll be blaming Lowry for losses if he's not putting up good numbers."

He got max what he could get now, he could wait till end of the season but who knows if zion come backs and his numbers drop, maybe injuries because he has to play alot because pels arent that good. Like i said they couldnt offer him more.
