For the millionth time, you can't pick a guy that is falling because of medical red flags when you haven't worked him out and don't have his medicals.

I don't really have him higher then a bench/rotational player. If he makes that, I guess its a success.

Did we draft this kid based on his hustle? damn that shot is broken, just brick upon brick. Anyone can hustle but not everyone can truly shoot :(

Masai spoke about potentially utilizing the picks in a trade. Hopefully we can substitute one of those picks (say the OKC first) with Dick instead.

I remember losing my mind in the groupchat on draft night cause i could not honestly believe they decided to draft Gradey. Granted a lot of that was the reporting indicating that Bufkin was their target so when he fell i thought that Bufkin was the pick, but i also didnt understand spending a lottery a pick on a guy who seemed like the next Duncan robinson when there were some higher ceiling guys available.

Shooters who cant defend are available every year in FA for the midlevel or slightly more.

I thought he looked good. Needs to bulk up, majorly work on his handle and hopefully one day hit shots. He had nice steals, taking the charges and other little things. Still looks lost at times on both ends. Hopefully he's an astute student.

I don’t think we have to wait until year 3 on this one. Sometimes you can tell right from the rookie season that a guy doesn’t have starter potential.

He missed a few bunnies and all his threes but he grabbed 7 boards, picked up 3 steals and drew 2 charges so he was at least active out there.

Gradey is down to earth and coachable guy. I think he will do fine in a few years. He is playing within his role unlike GTJ.

He's 19 and he's built like a 16 year old. It's obviously a body issue and he will need to gain an upwards of 20lbs. Otherwise most players are just going to try and run through him.

Needs a lot of work this offseason. I wonder what an extra 10-15 lbs of muscle would do for him, because a lot of his issues seem to stem from having an underdeveloped body. It's already impossible to defend because of the rules, so when you couple that with his lack of strength, it's a killer.

Even during the Hawks broadcast, Dominique Wilkins mentioned how Gradey needed to get in the weight room.

He needs to add more arc to his shot like how Fred did. He is terrified of getting blocked.

Does it matter? We aren't winning anything anytime soon, might as well have some patience and give him a chance to figure it out.

Just give this kid the LeBron diet of eating Clen and continue to Tren hard Anavar give up on being the best he can be.
