Kid is the most natural scorer on this team IMO. He knows how to create open looks.

He is currently the most fun raptors to watch. His footwork is impressive for a rookie. He has that Kobe , Demar lite footwork

I love this kid and I really hope he pans out. Darko needs to give him a longer leash and the green light to go one-on-one. Every team needs an ISO scorer.

I think maybe that’s something they start going after a bit more this summer. His handle needs a lot of work and still needs time to gain strength. Then even if it’s not iso, i definitely think he has some room to grow in the pick and roll. Made a nice pass to Grady tonight that he couldn’t convert and hopefully that part of his game can continue to evolve too. The thing that has stood out to me about him is that he’s always so locked in, so alert, good motor out there and is all in on defence.

Needs to get stronger and more confident in his 3 point shot. If he can do that in the off season, he might have a big leap in him.

Anyone get sga vibes? Skinny, long similar size and wingspan. Shot maker. Obviously there are levels to this and sga is clearly one of the best in the world.

Hopefully he grows like sga game.

His handle looks comparable to Barrett already.

Poor man's SGA sounds like a fair ceiling. :D

Maybe it's just me, but he sort of reminds me of Jaylen Brown with the way he moves and scores.

Really? Walter looks pretty smooth with the ball to me, whereas Brown looks like a robot. I'll watch for this next game.

This kid is crafty, deceptively athletic, good handles and has excellent shot making abilities. All he needs is some strength and weight, with some PEDs in the off season he just might develop into that reliable go to scorer the we need in crunch time, which makes RJ dependable.

Somehow he finds space to get his shots off easily. Even when you think he is trapped sometimes, he finds a way to create spece for himself. It's impressive. Next step is to start making those shots on good %.

We suddenly have a bunch of ballers on our wing. JaKobe is looking slick and has a quiet cocky demeanor that lets him pull off some sick moves at times.

He shows something every game. It would be interesting when he puts everything together.

The more he's showing, his style seems a little like SGA.

Right! Agbaji seems more Jaylen Brownish.

While I get that you're alluding to some of the creation ability to get to his spots & being a long guard....

Shai was always EXCELLENT at getting to the basket & was always one of the shiftiest ballhandlers, it's his shot that got better & better as he kept extending further out on the perimeter.

JaKobe is showing some ability to get to a spot I think more in line with how Booker does, issue of course is JaKobe isn't the pure shooter DB is. Booker is pretty damn great at getting to his spots and pulling up which I see JaKobe starting to do - although again he's not the same level of shooter (or maybe not yet). Shai has always been excellent at keeping his defender on his waist (pause), extreme slithery handle* (prob the most unique ability), shift in & out of different dribbles and a thousand counters initially to get to the rim but again now it's to whatever spots he wants since he can hit just about any shot on the court.

I get that JaKobe's shooting touch is prob more in line with Shai but I think the ability he's shown SO FAR, is more in line with being in an archetype more in line with Booker. To be clear I'm NOT projecting him to be as good as either but just who's archetype he looks to be more in line with for the time being but yes absolutely it would be great to see if he could get his handle anywhere near that and he'd be way better than I think any of us expected.

I love how he plays at his own pace.

Dick struggles by getting sped up. Jakobe looks in control at all times.
