Seeing how Felton evidently wants out of Denver, what about this:

Tor
Felton

Den
TPE
Alabi (ujiris boy)

This gives them cap space to resign Chandler, while giving us a younger upgrade at the PG.. We would have to deal Calderon.. It would be ideal to get Bogut from Milwuakee without giving up DeRozan..

Tor
2011 pick
Calderon
Davis

Mil
Bogut
Bucks 2012 pick

Potential line up of:

Felton, Bayless
DeRozan, Barbosa, Weems
Johnson, Kleiza, Weems
Bargnani, Evans
Bogut, Johnson

Thats definitely a playoff team with a good balance of offense/defense. Also a good mix of young guys and young vets like bogut and felton. The group is still young enough to grow together and has a very deep bench.

I like any move where we end up getting rid of bargnani. I'd do Thompson for bargs straight up or add in Calderon/bayless to try and get there first.

With a BPA at 4th or 5th selection you may have to consider a player whose best position is Power forward. Sullinger, Williams, Jones III, Kanter. So without relinquishing the pick here is a trade that matches.

Dorell Wright/Ekpe Udoh/Charlie Bell #11 pick (select best point guard available).
for
Bargnani/Ed Davis/Alabi/future first

with the 5th you can take any of Sullinger, Williams or Jones III, one of which will most certainly be there.

Centre: Udoh/Ajinca/Amir
PF: Sullinger-Williams-JonesIII or Kanter/Amir/Dorsey
SF: Dorell Wright/James Johnson
SG: Demar/Barbosa
PG: Jose/Bayless/#11 selection

If Felton wants out of Denver, you think he'd be happy to come to this trainwreck?

1) Felton wouldn't mind coming here because I'm sure he wants to be a starter.

2) With some good management, this thing could be FAR from a trainwreck come next year

#5 for Rubio

Calderon + Klezia + Cash (3 million) for Pachulia + Williams

Calderon / Hinrich
Hinrich / Crawford
Johnson / Klezia
Smith / Thompson (teague)
Horford / Center

Hawks are having trouble with their offense so i think Calderon would help that. They could look to move teague for a guy like Thompson.

Rubio / Bayless
Derozan / Barbosa
Chandler / Johnson / Weems
Davis / Amir
Bargnani / Pachulia / Alabi

is a nasty lineup. Sign Wilson Chandler / Jeff Green, id lean more toward Chandler because hes a better outside shooter. That team is just sick. Probably unrealistic and i dont know what team could use Calderon other than SAC really. Dont see many needs for PGs

^^ If we're bringing Rubio here, I'd just keep Jose and look to deal Bayless (maybe we could use him to dump Kleiza's contract? Or get a late pick or something). I don't like the idea of trying to develop two PG's that are going to need minutes, and Jose is a very solid backup who be nice to have around to help Ricky's transition to the NBA. I'd also prefer trying to bring a DeAndre/Gasol/Nene here as an FA instead. We end up with a team that can adequately defend the paint and has a lot of efficient, athletic finishers.

We definitely keep our pick.

Derrick Williams would be very nice...
The reason I mentioned acquiring Ekpe Udoh/Dorell Wright is because they are both young and improve our defence. Charlie Bell was a throw in and salary balast you buy out. Acquiring a point guard like Knight or the Jimmer would be good to consolidate the point for when Jose goes back to Spain.

Looks like a lot to give up in both Bargnani/Davis but if you look at it as Wright as the swap for Davis and Udoh/#11 for Bargnani looks like a good deal for both sides. GSW could then deal Lee for other assets.

outgoing would be Bargs/Davis/Alabi /future pick eventually Jose
incoming could be Dorell Wright, Udoh, Derrick Williams and Brandon Knight...

absolutely... would the Warriors be interested? I know he doesn't get off the bench for them (but then the same could be said of Alabi for us)

I think the only legitimate C that Golden State has is 7'0" Andris Biedrins. David Lee is a 6'9" forward who can play center, but they have little size at that position other than Biedrins. They could use Alabi as a third-string C, or back-up. GS is guard-heavy, and wouldn't be impacted negatively by the trade beyond Lin being a fan favorite.

The Raptors could use Lin for if/when they trade Calderon and/or Bayless. Should the Raptors draft a PG like Irving, Lin would be a perfect back-up PG for them. Lin is a far better decision maker than Bayless is...and not a shot chucker like him either.

Toronto has a lot of players who play C, and Golden State has a lot of players who play PG. It may be a trade they both go for. Fills a need for both of them.

To Toronto: Steph Curry + Andres Biedrins + Charlie Bell

To Golden State: Jose Calderon + Leandro Barbosa + James Johnson + #4/5

Raptors get their young PG in Steph Curry whos an amazing fit beside Derozan. I really love this deal because it opens up a lot for us.

Golden state takes Calderons deal but that deal is 1 year shorter than Biedrins so they save that money. James Johnson is a young SF that can backup Dorell Wright. #4/5 gets them someone like Val/Kanter and they would take Brandon Knight or Jimmer Freddette with their pick who is a PG they can groom behind Jose.

Jose Calderon / Brandon Knight / Jermey Lin
Monta Ellis / Leandro Barbosa
Dorrell Wright / James Johnson / Reggie Williams
Davis Lee / Ekpe Udoh
Enes Kanter / Nazr Mohammad* / Louis Amundson

* i would sign a guy like Mohammad, i just look at that team and really love it. Knight would be Calderons replacement in a couple years. This deal would take place on draft night and looking at GSW teams i just love it. It has young players + vets and its balanced. Ellis would love Jose passing him the ball every play. Just that team fits together. David Lee and Jose would make a nice PnR duo too. I think knight would go at #11 too. Just seems like the exact spot where he would be picked. Kemba is going to go infront of him so thats about right IMO.

- Raptors use cap space to sign Wilson Chandler / Jeff Green. Green i think is more likely to leave with Bostons payroll so high and the new CBA would really affect that. An offer of 9 million (starting salary) would force Boston not to match and i bet they take the TE to fill holes in other positions. You have to overpay and thats what we would need to do to get either.

Steph Curry / Jerryd Bayless / Charlie Bell
Demar Derozan / Sonny Weems
Jeff Green* / Linas Klezia
Ed Davis / Amir Johnson
Andrea Bargnani / Andres Biedrins / Solomon Alabi

look at that team. Its so complete. Green rebounds and helps out Bargnani with his defense + extra rebounding at the SF position. Curry brings outside shooting + playmaking. It just seems like complete lineup for both teams, i think its a deal that helps both too.

I think this is a deal that helps both parties.

To finish off my off-season i would
- Sign Josh Powell/Etan Thomas/Jared Jeffries to a minimum deal someone who can be a big body to throw out there and help rebounding if an injury should occur, vet guys that know their role
- Sign Anthony Carter/Royal Ivey (vet 3rd string PG just to add some vet presence to the young team or maybe you go with a young guy like Kyle Weaver?

Steph Curry / Jerryd Bayless / Royal Ivey
Demar Derozan / Sonny Weems / Charlie Bell
Jeff Green / Linas Klezia
Ed Davis / Amir Johnson / Josh Powell
Andrea Bargnani / Andres Biedrins / Solomon Alabi

thats my 2011/2012 Toronto Raptors. I think we make the playoffs and we have a growing team with all our picks and a bright future.

I actually think that Alabi could be a player down the line. Maybe he could see 8-10 minutes a game next year. How about this one?

Raptors-Suns: Amir Johnson + Leandro Barbosa + Solomon Alabi for Marcin Gortat + Hakim Warrick + 2011 first round draft pick (via Orlando) OR the trade can be done without Alabi and the pick.

Saves the Suns money in the long term. Suns shed Warrick's long term deal and the rookie scale contract of the 2011 pick for one year of Barbosa and the small salary of Alabi, who is probably a late 1st rounder in this draft. Barbosa fills a hole a shooting guard, which will be open when Vince Carter is traded/bought out and Mickael Pietrus leaves. Johnson is a young power forward that plays well in the pick and roll and will likely improve a bit moving to a better team. Alabi gives them a cheap draft pick who may or may not fit in Phoenix.

The Raptors get the best player in the deal in Gortat and is a long-term solution at this point for a center. Trading Johnson frees up more minutes for Davis and Bargnani at their natural positions. Warrick can fill in as a backup power forward and small forward. The draft pick can be used for in another trade or to draft more young talent.

Draft day trade:

To Sacramento-
Andrea Bargnani
1st round pick(currently 5th)
To Toronto-
Omri Casspi
Francisco Garcia
1st round pick(currently 4th)

Kings add the perfect compliment to Cousins, get rid of Garcia's contract and still gets to draft a decent SF in this draft.(Barnes/Perry or Terrence Jones)

Raps gets their starting SF and try to get closer to Irving.

Draft:
Best available PG(hopefully Kyrie Irving) Walker, Knight.

Free Agency:

Try to get DeAndre Jordan to commit verbally to signing a contract a 8 mil a year for 3-4 years.
Work out a sign and trade with the Clippers, sending them Kleiza and 3.4 mil TPE in return.

Clippers get much needed depth at SF.
Raps get their starting center.

Exercise team option on Joey Dorsey

Trade:
To Atlanta-
Leandro Barbosa
To Toronto-
Zsa Zsa Pachulia

Hawks get their 6th man replacement for Crawford.

Raps get a much needed tough veteran big man.

Roster:
C- Jordan/Pachulia/Alabi
PF- Davis/A.Johnson/Dorsey
SF- Casspi/J.Johnson/Garcia
SG- Derozan/Bayless/Garcia
PG- Irving/Calderon/Bayless

I don't think we should take Udrih + Garcia. They have cap space why don't they keep them. Or have us take one
