Now he can't play in the NCAA... may have improved the fundamentals of his game better and would be a stronger presence on Rytas in the future

* That was a nasty spin move and dunk by that Russian guy

He is getting paid and improving by practising against experienced pros. If he would gone to NCAA 3-4 years of school to get education playing for free and slower developing playing against kids. It would be better option to go to play in NCAA if he planned to in NBA but in reality I don't think he would go earlier than late second round after good season.
Btw if anyone interested CSKA playing in 1h20 minutes finals game.

It was 8 rebs and 3 blocks, but you know how everyone gives a dang about stats in VTB league.

Redikas to NBA? Second round? Some-one really is watching and dreaming too much about NBA. It will be good of he'll ever reach the level of NT and will be Euroleague's level guard. Jeees, if Rytas has NBA prospect Jonas, it doesn't mean every young player is NBA prospect in Rytas :)

Do you know how to read? I said if he had good season at best his chance would be to be drafted. His body is made for NBA 6''4' PG with big frame over 200lbs pretty athletic, good handles, active on D. He did have 22/10 against u19 USA I bet he would stand his own in NCAA.

Yes I know how to read and I found it strange trying to push every prospect to NBA perspective even with thouse "if". Yes Redikas is big enough, strong enough and athletic enough, but he's nothing close for being PG in NBA with his handling "abilities", he has no quickness of NBA also and that's the key. He seems too static, too raw and not quick, mobile enough to treat him as big time prospect (looking now playing with pros). Hopefully he's developing and I see him being NT material, but I don't see him being NBA material and nothing really close. Also his shooting abilities are average so far. IMO, his seiling is a strong combo guard of Euroleague. However, I would agree that Redikas along with Čižauskas are the most talented players after Jonas from that golden generation.

Redikas has terrible handles, ball protection in particular. If he had good handles, he was one of the better young combos in Europe. He still is, one of the leaders of Lithunian 1992 team.

P.S RealGM has all the stats you need, very convenient

VTB : 18.3 pts. 12.8 rebs. 3 blks. 58% FG
Eurocup : 18.5 pts. 13.1 reb. 2.7 blks. 63.4 FG

Kirilenko and Khyrapa can guard both of them quite easily. So that certainly isn't true.

Dallas beat Miami in 6. With old man Peja, Brian Cardinal, Mahinmi, Barea, old as hell Kidd, etc. in their rotation.

Just basically Dirk, Terry, Chandler (who was not that good in FIBA 2010), and a half zone that NBA allows, plus a bunch of scrubs and really, really old guys beat the Heat in 6 games.

Half of the players in Dallas' rotation that won the championship, could not even make it into CSKA's rotation.

He also fouls out in 40 minutes... There are a lot of ifs about this guy. I think it is possible for him to get 10/8 in 25 mins, although I think its a long reach.
His stats almost identical to Davis' college stats, so expectations are reasonable tho.

yeah, expect some ppl in this board call him a bust if he doesnt produce what they think.. but okay, you say we should be "happy" with 10 and 8.. I just hope he evolutes and develops like Monroe...

one good thing about Jonas that cant be meassured in stats is his motor and motivation on the court.. hopefully, Bargs gets some of it haha

PS.. talent is not everything, but demeanor is also important.. Big V is a team player, a good locker room guy, and it seems like he shares his emotions with his teammates.. just talkin about players like Tyreke Evans who are a mess, and finally their teams want to trade them..
