Drummond is NOT a good defender. He's gets some pretty blocks once in a while, but he's nowhere near a defensive anchor. I'd probably take KAT right now due to being a much more reliable scorer.

There is really no reason for him to stay another year unless he intends to finish school. Rabb is a lotto pick and pretty much every board and could move up higher after workouts. If he doesn't enter the draft, I think Masai should just draft BPA and if it's not a PF he can make a trade for someone like Lyles on Utah.

I'm not really a big fan of Rabb but I wouldn't be disappointed if we got him. He has a high floor but I'm just not sure his ceiling is that high. Right now he's basically Sabonis with better length and slightly better athleticism. Right now I'm leaning towards Davis who has similar size and length, better athleticism, and could be an elite rim protector at the PF. Rabb has more polish but Davis has the better raw tools. The only thing I'd want to know about Davis is about his drive, more, and makeup. We know Rabb has these in spades, so if there's no red flags in that area then Davis is my guy.

If we're going pure upside then I'm going Skal, who might be immature but has #1 pick physical tools and skills. He could be the Drummond or Turner of this draft.

We can't pass on either Skai or Brown if they drop to 9. Their situation is so similar to Drummond and Myles Turner. Top 2 prospects coming out of High School that didn't live up to the hype in college. Now Drummand is the best big in the League and Myles is getting better every game.

Jackson is my pick. I think he's BPA. He's limited bust potential and also has potential to improve a lot as well.

Also, he can pair up with Delon Wright with Wright guarding 2's and Jackson guarding 1's.

Read his DX profile. Basically, terrible defender, and had difficulty against bigger, longer wing defenders that are rare in college but more common in the NBA. I'm sure the fact he's a senior doesn't help.

This means I take offence--FGM, FGA, assists, drawing fouls, etc--, defence--blocks, steals, etc--, negatives--turnovers, commiting fouls, etc--and then calculate a rating. AP I call it.

Last year I solely focused on the Raptors.

This year I was planning on doing the whole NBA season, but unfortunately life got in the way. I have made methods and functions but I still have to work on handling transactions--waived, signed, traded, etc..

Unfortunately I could not spend that much time collecting data so I decided instead to focus on the NCAA March Madness tournament. I just want to say this is just a small sample of data, and yes I know you can never tell how good a player will potentially be, especially on data analysis. And YES I am aware some players would have played 1 game in the tourney and all the foreign players are not ranked and some good players had bad games while some bad players had good games. Just sharing if you care.
