I dont mind the thought of us taking a chance on Boogie for a really cheap contract. But its understandable why others don't want to have anything to do with him, particularly his injury issues and past attitude issues.

I think players can and do mature and he'd be the type of player to take a flyer on.

I think once serge makes his decision we’ll see the other bigs fly off the board. Either way we need 2 big’s.

I'm curious why you say that. Is it just that random report from someone on here that he doesn't want to be bothered by so many friends and relatives looking for tickets? Or do you have more info than that?

TT has always been quite committed to the Canadian National Team, and passes through Toronto fairly often. He even showed up to support the national team a couple of years ago in a qualifying game in Toronto on one of the few occasions that he wasn't playing because of his contract situation. It seems as though he's still a proud Canadian and likes Toronto from everything I've seen.

Not really sold on Cousins but only upside to him is that he might come REALLY Cheap. Like for the vet min.

No team is going to give him MLE after the injuries he's had.

Masai has tried for Tristan in past and there hasnt been interest on his part. Tristan also never wants anything to do with Canada, never shows up for team Canada, just never reps the country.

Boston board in full meltdown more right now. There's even a fire danny ainge thread. They could've had Turner and Mcdermott for free because Indiana wanted a sign and trade with them for Hayward but greedy Ainge waited and wanted more now he gets nothing. Boston board wants his head. This is the 3rd year in a row Danny lost a max free agent for nothing.

First Bucks board melts down and now Boston all in a span of a week.

You hate to see it.

Ainge outsmarted himself once again and still living on the high of the Billy King heist. What would be hilarious is if Brooklyn manages to make the finals before the Celtics

I'd give Tristan the benefit of the doubt since he was going deep into the playoffs every year with Bron while having minimal time off

Not only that, the year Cleveland won the chip, couple months later Tristan was helping Canada trying to qualify for the FIBA world cup in Asia. Thompson could have taken the whole summer off to rest, but the fact that he still traveled to play for Canada that year, I would never question his commitment to Team Canada.

Their championship window is slowly closing that's why people there are so mad. As soon as tatum's supermax kicks in they will already have 3 max players on their roster, with many not believing Brown can ever be a star and kemba has been a disappointment.

Ainge should've use all that time when he had tatum and brown under cost control to fill out a championship roster. Now they're realizing they haven't got any better this free agency and won't be contending for a title this year and tatum's supermax will kick in.

Boston should've had a championship by now with the war chest of picks he got from billy king.

Yeah, I don't know where this "never shows up for team Canada" thing is coming from. That's simply false. Makes me more likely to discount anything else he says.

Noel Or Thompson

Thompson is stronger but Noel Is Longer

Thompson is more experienced but Noel is younger and has more upside

its a tough call for me but either works

Noel is a waaaaaay better defender. Less offensive touch but for a bench big I'd prioritize defending.

If it's for close to the same amount of money, I'd lean towards Thompson, simply because he addresses the biggest weakness the team had last year, which was rebounding. Noel is definitely a more mobile defender these days, though, so neither would be a bad option as a backup to Ibaka (if we can get him back).
