philly is also idiotic in the fact that they should be trying to drive up miamis asking price, like they were salty we were asking for that and are publicly declaring they are out when they should be trying to get us the kitchen sink from miami. stupid

at least they'd probably make it to the ECF....a lot better than the 1st/2nd round exits they've been experiencing for awhile now

I think philly is a lock for Kyle now. The hill trade only makes sense if they are sending a bunch of their players out. Green, Scott, maxey and/or thybulle, possibly curry.....

Man....if we get maxey/thybulle/2 FRPs I will be very happy. Wonder if we can flip green or curry for a couple seconds.

I'm guessing it's maxey and one FRP which is exactly what many of us have been proposing since the start of the season.

That's true but you got to put the chips in the middle if your Philly. How healthy is Embiid gonna be in future runs? Harris ain't getting any younger. Your window to potentially win a ring is shrinking.

Missing out on Harden was tough mostly because Houston took what clearly was a lesser offer. Somehow I think the Sixers will survive without Lowry best of luck on you guys finding the type of deal you are looking for.

I'm fine with keeping Kyle, but my guess is we end up with a package of:

Iggy
Olynyk
Precious
Robinson
Okpala
2025 1st (OKC lifts restriticions on 2023)

We then waive Baynes, Iggy, and some others (unless Iggy can be traded for something).

We go into the summer with two RFAs, and cap space to sign a big man (or we just keep Olynyk).

It's a nice package, and helps both teams.

Miami still has a lineup of Lowry, Dragic, Bam, Jimmy, and probably Aldridge, along with Herro, Bjelica, Bradley, Ariza, Nunn, Vincent.

From the Sixers perspective - I'm thinking maybe they don't see Lowry as that piece that is guaranteed to get them over the Nets. They probably like their chances as is, which is fine I guess.

Lakers need Lowry more than the Sixers or Heat. The Sixers and Heat were never going to beat Brooklyn.
