IMO Baba will be lucky to be a FRP from the early goings. If he does, it'll be end of the first type.

If we're in that 7-14 range I'm giving Jett Howard a serious look. Even with his defense not being "Raptor-esque".

Yup, so would I.

I like Wemb, Scoot, Miller, twins, george, dick, walker, Jett, Black, flip, brice, GG, Clowney, Miller, wallace for the value where they're projected
Big questions w Nick smth, whitmore, Whitehead, ware, Mitchell.
Lively has been disappointing but his rim protection is elite. He'll play in the league for a long time

I think he still becomes a FRP just based on the potential. Similar to how Peyton Watson was even though he produced nothing in college

Yeah, that's why I hedged when I said the end of the first type. There's always a chance, but the way he's talked about around here it's as if he's a no brainer lotto talent. I like Taylor Hendricks and Max Lewis more TBH and they're mocked outside lotto.

He's my early selection with our 2nd. He's pretty mobile and looks like he'll be able to switch a ton. But other than defense he's been pretty underwhelming. That's why I think there's real value there early second round.

Guy who's not talked about enough, but imo belongs in the convo with players like Howard, Lewis, Sensabaugh.
Dude is a pure gunner, with three-level scoring potential, and actually plays defense.

I was reading an early draft thread from '21 season to see what people were thinking. Some good takes, some bad. Interesting that there was very little Suggs talk before end of March.

Seems like College basketball has so many shooting guards like him. Is he better than Johnny Davis was in college?

Good comp, I think his game is similar to Davis (who is in a sucky situation with the Wizards to display his skills). I'd say the difference with Hawkins is he's less ball-dominant, and can be a threat off the ball with his movement and relocation. I also think he has more wiggle to his game compared to Davis who was fond of just brute-forcing his way to the rim with straight line drives. Davis is probably more vertically explosive at the rim.

Unless they are a top 10 projected pick might as well get them later in the 1st like Simons, Bane, Blake Wesley, Max Christie, etc.
This year, can get, Terrence Shannon Jr, Terquavion Smith, Colby Jones, Maxwell Lewis, Rayan Rupert, Jaylen Clark, Julian Strather, etc. Just have good scouting and use a mid-late 1st pick to get who you want.
With all of them, I hope Sidy Cissoko is there with the 2nd pick.

Oh absolutely! I'm not suggesting taking him with our pick anymore than I would want to take Howard or Sensabaugh with our pick. I'd want to get another 1st rounder to scoop up either Hendricks, Hawkins, Sensabaugh, etc. I firmly want Brandon Miller at our pick if such a miracle was possible.

He's been on my radar. I like him later in the first round. Has the chance to be a valuable rotation player.

Noah Clowney has played really well and rising. Getting noticed too cuz of Miller's play.
He's definitely going to enter now

Whitehead's stock is about to plummet like a rock.
