He also fouls out in 40 minutes... There are a lot of ifs about this guy. I think it is possible for him to get 10/8 in 25 mins, although I think its a long reach.

Is that next year or in the Olympics? Thats not bad for a 20 year old Jonas V

That kinda thread would die out in 5 seconds due to all kind of immature dudes who never even saw euro ball or even know what CSKA is would start collectively yelling like a bunch of baboons.

P.S. I don't think CSKA could reach finals (they could reach playoffs probably tho), don't get me wrong on this one, was merely commenting on the idea of creating such thread.

NBA. Not saying he gonna get those, but I think it his rookie ceiling. First year is to prove he is NBA material, not expecting him starting or scoring 10 per game, 6/6 is more believable numbers.

Noah averaged 6.6 pt 5.6 reb 1 ast 1blk on 48% fg in 20 minutes as 22/23 years old rookie so if Jonas as 20 years old would average 7/6/1/1 on 55% fg in around 20 minutes I would say it would be ok.

Ed Davis averaged 7.7pts 7.1reb in his rookie year. I think JV can match that.

why is that discussion about CSKA still progressing in this thread? :) however, personally I think they would make it into NBA Playoffs. Kirilenko has said that's it definitely team of NBA level :)

I expect 14/8 from Jonas V in rookie year. CSKA? There is a international basketball forum on Real GM

so did Rytas win 3rd or what??? the discussion of the game just died randomly...

PS no way CSKA makes the playoffs in the NBA! they'd be lucky to have a better record than the bobcats... this forum makes crazier claims by the day.

Yes, they got 3rd. Now all that is left are the LKL finals, arguably the most important and exciting part of the season cause of the rivalry between Zalgiris and Lietuvos rytas. Best of 5 series, first game on Sunday, 12AM EST.

They would EASILY have a better record than the Bobcats. Easily. They probably wouldn't make playoffs but surely they are better than the Bobcats. Heck I would throw Barcelona in there too. Those two would have had more than 7 wins this season.

I tottaly disagree. For example Raptors bench player Linas Kleiza was big star in Europe and reached Euroleague final with Olympiacos. Think about better player than Kleiza in Raptors team: Andrea Bargnani, Jose Calderon, DD or Amir Jonhson and add the Kleiza, who dominated in Euroleague. I have no doubt that Raptors would be Euroleague champs easily. So CSKA record in NBA would not better than Raptors in this season. Playoffs only dream.
CSKA have only three-four players who can play in NBA. Kirilenko starter, Teodosič - maybye starter in poor team, Krstic - bench... What about others? In my opinion Shved, Khriapa, Gordon or Lavrinovic isnt NBA level players.

Returning at the theme: tomorrow will be Jonas 20 birthday and first LKL final game.

CSKA definitely wouldn't make the playoffs, but they might be able to beat the Bobcats.

Its crazy to say cska would be playoffs team. But they definitely could beat bobcats in 7 game series. Krstic, Kirilenko, Teodosic, Shved, Lavrinovic, Siskauskas all nba level talent. They would have an edge just because of their defense and size. I mean if player doesnt play in NBA doesnt mean he can't for example Siskauskas 18 ppg in his 3 games against NBA teams in preseason add his defense and imo he would good fit for team like celtics or spurs. But ok enough these talks.

Btw Rytas aren't favorites to win finals so they need to have great series and lock up the Euroleague spot next year. Oh also after these series Jonas have some rest and May 30 starts training in National team camp.

What's funny is that I had lunch with Terrence Ross' agent yesterday. We talked about every possible scenario. Toronto never came up.

20 feels like 25.
Finals series start today. LKL crown secures Euroleague spot for Rytas next year. Bring it, Jonas.
