Noel Or Thompson
Thompson is stronger but Noel Is Longer
Thompson is more experienced but Noel is younger and has more upside
its a tough call for me but either works
If it's for close to the same amount of money, I'd lean towards Thompson, simply because he addresses the biggest weakness the team had last year, which was rebounding. Noel is definitely a more mobile defender these days, though, so neither would be a bad option as a backup to Ibaka (if we can get him back).
Yeah for Noel or Thompson....it's a toss up for me. Both have their respective strengths

This is the 3rd year in a row Danny lost a max free agent for nothing.
First Bucks board melts down and now Boston all in a span of a week.
You hate to see it.
I don't hate it! Boston is a competitor, and they are less dangerous now.
I hate to see Miami coming back with the same squad while maintaining full flexibility for next year.
I don't hate Milwaukee losing a ton of quality veteran depth, blowing the Bogdan S&T, and whiffing on any major add other than Jrue. They are weaker.
In a no-win argument, the first poster to Let It Go will at least retain some peace of mind

We don't need him. Boucher fills the same role and can actually shoot the ball.

I'd much rather Jrue + DJ over Bledsoe + G.Hill
Replacing Robin lopez with Bobby Portis is a wash at worst. Bobby will provide more for them than Robin if anything.
Milwaukee definitely improved this off-season

In Raptor Ball I Trust

Everybody is losing their freaking minds. Nutbars and wingnuts have infested this forum. We've become a public lavatory without cleaning staff.

I'd give Tristan the benefit of the doubt since he was going deep into the playoffs every year with Bron while having minimal time off
Not only that, the year Cleveland won the chip, couple months later Tristan was helping Canada trying to qualify for the FIBA world cup in Asia. Thompson could have taken the whole summer off to rest, but the fact that he still traveled to play for Canada that year, I would never question his commitment to Team Canada.
Yeah, I don't know where this "never shows up for team Canada" thing is coming from. That's simply false. Makes me more likely to discount anything else he says.

There have been a few times he has pushed back on playing for team Canada.

Do not want Batum even on the friendliest deal. He's been garbage for like 5 seasons now

Aside from Tony Parker every player from France has been a disappointment compared to their potential.

Re: Free Agency Thread **NOW OPEN**
Nerlens Noel and Ibaka, please. I'd actually take a chance on Batum on a minimum deal (if we'll have a roster spot open). He's been injured a lot over the past few years, maybe our medical staff can work some magic with him.
