First of all, you haven't seen these guys play, so why indulge in stereotypes. It's so lame. If Kanter had played a few games for Kentucky he would have ceased to be a Turk and of course you'd be fully on board.

Secondly, aside from maybe Irving, this draft doesn't have obvious superstar talents like Griffin, Carmelo, Durant, Rose, Evans, Wall, etc., all of whom were way more impactful than this year's freshman/sophs. That's not to say some of this year's top picks won't have good careers, even make some all-star games, but the current crop doesn't suggest superstar to most of us.

-Harrison Barnes with the Raps pick
-Acquire a mid-first rounder for Brandon Knight (trade board idea: Calderon/Kleiza for Bibby/Williams + ATL first)
-Announcement the Miami pick has been dealt for Anthony Randolph
-LaceDarius Dunn with our 2nd round pick

Knight/Bayless
DeRozan/Barbosa/Dunn
Barnes/Williams/Weems/Wright
Johnson/Davis/Randolph
Bargnani/Dorsey/Alabi

...then a subsequent deal is made to deal Barbosa unless it has been done.

-Harrison Barnes has to show me more before he warrants a top 10 pick
-Brandon Knight? meh. With a mid-first, I'd look at Fredette or if he's available Vesely
-I'm afraid Randolph will be traded for a late-teen pick by then. Watch Indiana for that
-We don't have a second round pick, at least not yet.

Oh yea, the Delfino deal. Draft Dunn with the Miami pick then.

Barnes and Knight stand, they'll be very good imo. I agree that Barnes needs to show more, but we're drafting based on potential, and if a guy with Barnes' potential is available at our pick (could be anywhere from 5-10) you take him no questions asked and try to develop his talent.

Knight will be better than Fredette and Vesely imo. He fits our needs at the point much more than Fredette, and Vesely will be gone in the lottery anyways. I can't get enough Brandon Knight, he just oozes potential similar to Russell Westbrook when he was drafted. No one knew Westbrook would be this good but OKC took a shot and the only way we jump off that proverbial treadmill will be to take chances. I'm not saying he's Russell Westbrook but I think you understand.

Right now we are slated for the 6th pick we should probably in the running for the 5th or 4th pick before the draft lottery selection that people still forget about. That process fully determines whether we stay where we are, move up or move down. If we end up with the 5th or 4th pick and move up into the top 3 that would be the most ideal situation.

Walker, Selby, Knight will all be there by the time we pick. If not all 3 then 2 of em for sure... Its just that they haven't excited me yet like the Jones have.

PS. P.Jones is not a PF. He's a SF in the NBA. Putting him at te 4 would be absurd. He just plays the 4 moretimes at for Baylor because they should. Baylor is a good school to.

i really want Perry Jones, Terrence Jones, Kyrie Irving or Harrison Barnes. If none of those are available id be happy with Walker or Knight but they dont scream out to be like the above guys do.

Maybe if we end up 6th we can move the Miami Pick + Cash and try to get up t0 #4 and get one of the Jones/Irving/Barnes

I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

Yea we really do need any one of those 4. I wouldn't reach to move up for barnes like I would for the others tho.

tbh I think pushing DeMar up to the 3 and letting Brandon Knight play the 2 (as a combo guard) will work out better than if we draft Harrison Barnes and let him play the 3.

We'd need some hugemongous bigs to protect the paint cause we'd get annihilated defensively.

my boy Nolan Smith has climbed up considerably in the last 3 weeks. If we do not have Barbosa or Bayless by the draft, I'd definitely love to have him here.

This. I prefer T jones or Kyrie, but any of those four will do. I would love to have a Canadian with the Heat pick. Anyone of Cory Joseph/Tristan Thompson/Kris Joseph would be nice.

This draft looks like is going to be horrible draft, other than Irving there is no one that you can say will be franchise changing player. If we don't get the top 5 pick or Irving and Kemba walker are gone by the the time we pick I wouldn't mind trading the pick for young prospects.... DeAndrea Jordan, Javaal Mcgee, Jeff Green, Thaddues Young..

My top 5 pick for Raps ( excluding Irving)

1. Kemba Walker
2. Jared Sullinger
3. Perry Jones
4. Terrence Jones
5. Alec Burk

Others

Josh Selby
Enes Kanter
Harris Barnes( has shown anything so far)
Jonas Valanciunas

FYI Harrison Barnes on tonight at 7:30 on SN1. North Carolina versus Georgia Tech.

Tristan is going to be in the 2012 draft with Kabongo.

SN1 fails again - they show the game on the regular channel but not HD. Idiots.

Don't be a spoiled brat, ball is ball. I'd watch it with Bob McKenzie and Steve Kouleas calling the game if I had to.

Marshall has great court vision... I definitely would not mind picking him up if he declares and is still on the board with the Miami pick (although I guess neither of those is very likely)

To watch Barnes is to cry that we have to have a high pick in this draft. Man he sucks, I'm not sure he'd be a top 20 pick in this draft.

I don't know how a prospect supposedly this good can stink out the joint so badly.

Yeah, Barnes is just...not good right now.

He's hesitating so much....it indicates his confidence may be shaken.

It sucks, 'cause he has the tools and he's a great kid.

EDIT: Nice aggressive drive by Barnes, earning a trip to the line. Needs to do more of that.

Barnes is doing some nice things in this game. I wouldn't be surprised if he lives up to the hype following this game. It seems like his confidence is crawling back.

Return to Toronto Raptors
