You got all butt hurt over the simple comment? It's ok buddy, I'll leave you alone. You didn't have to go through all that work to find a quote from me.

It wasn't much work. I just googled "Reignman being Reignman" and it was the 3rd hit of 15,014.

But yeah, don't respond to my posts or refer to me, and I'll do the same for you.

I did know the median was around 2 mil. It's been mentioned on these boards many times.

I'm not redefining anything. Mediocre players (there are lots of them, Brown, Kapono, Barea, James, Evans etc.) can aspire to make the MLE.

The rank and file is full of mediocre players.

Rank and file does not mean mediocre either. Try again.

I'm sorry for not using the definition of "rank and file" that you use in your head.

Look it up in a dictionary, its obvious when you said "it hit the rank and file the hardest" you were thinking the MLE players were the rank and file.

No emo here bud. It's just time to recognize that communicating with you is next to impossible. So please, you ignore me and I'll ignore you.

No I was thinking that many MLE players used to be rank and file. Hence, the most the rank and file could aspire to earn was the MLE.

Heres a good article from Freakonomics:-

http://www.freakonomics.com/2011/11/21/ ... a-lockout/

we need to understand that the owners’ team consists of two players: large market teams and small market teams

In sum, this is a contest with three players. If the small market teams are satisfied – either by the large market teams or the players – we will get an NBA season and an era of labor peace. If the small market teams are not satisfied however, then we may be without an NBA season for quite a long time to come.

Unfortunately, IMO, I don't think the small markets can get everything they need from the large markets. That's the problem when 22 teams can't make money and are not a preferred destination.

The players are going to have to realize the economic/systemic issues the small markets are facing. The large markets will play a part in this as well but it'll be a smaller part.

Sooo are you just here to troll me? Or are you going to add something to the discussion?

Reignman and I don't see eye to eye, I think we agreed to stop posting to one another. This isn't the first time you've added nothing but a shot at me in this thread. Should I report you now? Or is it going to stop?

haha, ok, too many butts have been hurt in this process. Fact is, none of us will know what's what until these guys resolve this on their own. Once we see the final outcome we'll know who was bluffing and who was serious.

At the 50% with more revenue sharing I think a deal could have been done.

sheridanhoops Chris Sheridan
David Boies and Billy Hunter are giving a "litigation update" at 6 p.m. EST. So there will be some NBA lockout news tonight.
