SlamOnline is also doing a pick a day.

If Sullinger goes 5th things look extra sexy for us. But I doubt it.

Let's say 6. Lillard 7. TJ 8. Barnes wow

What's funny is that I had lunch with Terrence Ross' agent yesterday. We talked about every possible scenario. Toronto never came up.

Even Drummond is on the board in that scenario. I keep saying it, if he's there give Hakeem a call and see if he's down to work with the kid. If Hakeem is willing, you pick Drummond faster than Shaq can eat a twinkie.

We have Valanciunas, JV wingspan is 7'6 (according to himself) and when he comes I think he's going to measure 7'0"(in 2010 "I'm now 210 centimeters [almost 6-11] without shoes"), so I would still pick Barnes ahead of Drummond, and why not call Hakeem and ask him to work with JV instead of Drummond. I think Hakeem would love Jonas personality and MOTOR.

Well it's a good fit for the Kings. And GS seems to be pretty interested in Sullinger as well so it's still within the realm of possibility.

But there's no way Barnes slips to 8, he's 2nd or 4th pick.

Hakeem can work with both Drummond and JV. Pay the man to be a coach, God knows he'll be a better one than what we have outside of Casey. The idea would be to trade Bargs and go with serious youth in the front court.

Don't be surprised if Duke's Austin Rivers ends up a Raptor (No. 8). His interview went well with them and Toronto needs an alpha male

Yes. He should lead the pack. Austin can't do that. I hope that Valanciunas will be our Hakeem and keep his promise to bring us a championship.

If Drummond falls to us, we don't HAVE to take him. There will have been a reason he slid and other teams chose the likes of Sullinger, Lillard, or even Terrence Jones instead.

We chose Ed as a big who fell to us even though we didn't need him and hadn't worked him out. I think most of us would now be at least equally happy if we'd gone with the plan to draft Avery Bradley.

If we don't go with a PG with the 8th pick, should we look at Jared Cunningham with our second rounder? I think he has the potential to be a Westbrook type player.

lol rivers has the alpha male personality that character it's nothing to do with skill. Jonas is the better prospect for sure but thats not the argument you were making

Yeah, at Combine they all said that he's potential draft steal.

If you just said this you do not now a thing about Jonas. You should watch him play sometime, look whois the leader on the court when he played with Rytas, when he comes to the game he takes over. Without him his teammates were lost. And he was with grown man. If you had seen him play for U-18, U-19 teams, he was the head of the pack all the time.

With you on that one. I think BC even has mentioned that at 37 we can get an exciting young player. For me it has to be either him or Tyshawn Taylor.

I laugh at people who think Drummond is going to fall all the way to # 8 and that they wouldn't take him.

He is not falling that far. 7-0 agile big who's only 18 years old don't come around often. He will be snatched up 1-5.

I'd probably snap up Drummon, even though I'm not a big fan. He's a big time prospect who just hasn't panned out so far, but the size and talent is there. He's been on the radar for so long and is so physically imposing I don't think you'd have any trouble getting good value for him if he wasn't panning out and the Raptors didn't want to wait around; big men don't lose their potential tag for a long time.

A JV / Drummond post combo would be the biggest, most athletic combo in the NBA for years to come.

Absorb Gay's bad contract sending the Grizz a future 1st round pick, JJ, Ed Davis, and expiring contracts.

Send Bayless and Bargnani to the Bucks for Jennings. The Bucks are depleted at the PF/C spot.

Jennings
DeRozan
Gay
Drummond
JV

That starting line up would have insane potential.

Someone wanna explain to me why no one on this board thinks highly of terrence ross. I think he can quite possibly be the steal of the draft. I just wanna know what others are saying that im probably missing.
