Yep. I don't think either of them will be anything spectacular but I do think they will be useful NBA players for a long time if they land on the right team, develop and stay healthy. I'm more partial to Wallace but Gradey should also be able to carve out a role early on as well.

This draft is looking very, very good.

I'm a big fan of Wallace. Sure, he's had some bad freshman games, but that whole Kentucky team has been a bit of an inconsistent mess so far.

I can see Wallace as a less-annoying, slightly-better shooting Marcus Smart type of player. Extremely disruptive defender, decent enough playmaker, and hits enough shots to be a solid contributor on that end. The Raptors have had problems stopping the ball at the point of attack all season, and Wallace would really help improve that particular weakness.

I think Wallace is a guy the Raps should take a long look at, especially if they move on from VanVleet.

I agree. I do like Wallace as well and project him to be a Marcus Smart type of guy. Interestingly enough, a lot of the critiques against him are quite similar to those made against Jrue Holiday. That is where I personally have his ceiling.

Still, if all he turns out to be is Marcus Smart, that is definitely worth a lottery pick.

Yeah I don't watch near enough Baylor to have a proper take, just saying those guards were dominant when they won the title along with a bunch of solid players (Vital was a great defender), the only other 2 of whom should be even NBA bench guys are Flagler and Mayer and they were freshmen playing 15 minutes off the bench. So that narrative might lead Flagler to drop a bit.

Deanondraft had both those guys as late 1sts / early 2nds and close to the biggest mispriced players among the consensus top picks. It is kind of easy to see why they were unsuccessful.
I have no idea about anyone in this draft as I haven't looked into it at all yet, so I'm not saying current Baylor guys will buck the trend.

Haven't seen enough of him to comment on potential but 2 significant injuries in same calendar year means he will drop in the draft. The fragile label is hard to shake.

I want Zach Edey idc what ppl say, he can play. He's gonna be one of the most productive players for team Canada for the next 15 years. If this was the 90s he'd go #1

Neither tbh. But IMO depends on which direction we go with our FRP and roster.

Brice Sensabaugh is putting up some ridiculous offensive numbers. 51/48/82 shooting splits. Yes, 48% from 3 on 88 attempts so far, and from what I've seen, a lot of those are off the dribble or moving on the catch. 30.2 PER, 10 OBPM. Fun player to watch.

Does Donovan Clingan look more mobile? Of the two I think Clingan has more switchability, but neither look great in that regard. Personally I'd be looking at Lively if he falls to the second.

I need to dig more into the film. But he has a fair share of fans on this board and the draft board. But I've heard defense could be a issue for him.

Said it before but Kris Murray gonna rise shortly here. His brother's play of late will certainly help some opinions bias or not

Intelligent player. Not the quickest first step but a good late lottery pick.

Rank these 5. I ask because their all mocked within a few picks of each other and all play a similar role.
1. Max Lewis
2. Gradey Dick
3. Brice Sensabaugh
4. Jett Howard
5. Kris Murray

Kris can be a solid rotation player but he's not on his brother's level. At his age, likely to be in mid 20s especially in this draft.

You're right they are. I'd probably go right now. Things may change

He's going to go mid teens at worst IMO. Rising quick here. Just smashing teams.

Kispert is just a shooter. Gradey brings a lot more to the table.

For me it'd be.
Jett
Dick
Sensabaugh
Lewis
Murray

I think Jett has the best creation/handle of the bunch, but none are great defenders. I agree Murray has been killing it, he's like 3 years older than these guys. He'll be 23 when the NBA season starts.

This draft looks like the 2019 one where you had 2 megastars at the top (Zion/Ja) and after that most of the 1st round is littered with mediocrity. Garland/Herro/Poole were hits too.

The wildcards are the twins, I'm not bothering trying to evaluate them in a glorified HS setting but they could add to the star power of this draft if they pan out.
