That's really not "hot" at all tbh, at least not imo. Soon as you seen in his rookie season what huge growth he made even from college, I thought it became quite apparent that he's a better prospect than both Bosh & DeMar were.
He may end up THE best.
VC was (half man, half) amazing but he only got us to the semis. I can see Scottie having the potential to take us further since his style of play also incorporates his teammates better, not to mention being far more versatile as a player as a rebounder & passer (those things matter too) & a great bball IQ.
Vince already passed him the torch with ROTY award.

Let's be real we didn't even pick Carter we traded for him.. Our best pick career wise is T-Mac even though he didn't do much for us lol Carter 2nd if you count that as a pick.
3 Bosh
4 Derozan

Of course there are things to clean up (TOs are too high) but he is arriving right before our eyes.
Tmac, he's levels above Siakam. If you are talking about best bang for buck draft, then it's PascalYogurtProducer wrote:DatHomieYouHaTe wrote:PhilBlackson wrote:

Our best pick is Siakam and it frankly isn’t close

Scottie looking All-NBA so far, 21/10/5/1/2.4 on 59.7% TS%. Honestly just insane just from last year.

Ah I’d think actual production with the Raptors was what was being discussed

Not to mention guys like Pascal and Precious who will have to unlearn a ton of bad habits.
