To save us trying to listen through the whole thing looking for it, what did he say about Scottie?

He also directly says OGs people are calling teams to guage his market value. So this is 100% him being a mouthpiece for Klutch.WuTang_OG wrote:aminiaturebuddha wrote:

He seemed to take issue with the word sickening, but Scottie being him isn't going to stop and online fools saying hateful stuff (anything that crosses the line) pre dates Scottie Barnes.

I'm all for player empowerment but Klutch is a disease to the league.
I don't know their level of involvement with these rumors but I'm saying that based on how they've forced the issue with AD, Ben etc.

fisher isnt a klutch mouthpiece, he doesnt have that track record. he doesnt have connections with the agencies yet, thats shams/woj etc.
fisher gets his reports from the teams.
ever since last summer i have notifications turned on for him, i read his articles, so this is a year long observation on my part. and i do believe him to be credible(as much as anyone reporting on rumors can be), i am the one who started this thread.

Raps fans are crazy. Dude isnt even reporting anything negative. He's saying that OG might want a bigger role (is there any decent player that doesnt?), other teams want him and Raps arent hanging up the phone. That chit deserves hate?

you can't separate these things. Barnes already took on the tough assignments as a rookie, so it isn't changing anytime soon.

This is all so dumb, lol.
Fischer is just a regular media guy putting rumors out there. 90% of those are wrong but they can never be verified, so Fischer's reputation does not even take a hit.
No need to even address it, it's just typical noise.

It's a nothing burger by Fischer. Raptors fans are pussies.

-toronto is really trying to get a big man, made a lot of calls about it
- raps like to garner all their opporunties and pick one that makes the most sense
- they have called on ayton and gobert

I dont even advocate trading OG, but Barnes guarding C's isnt exactly easier on him. The whole 5 perimeter players things might work out...i dunno, we've never really given it a shot with GTJ/FVV on the roster, but i dont see how having Barnes being the biggest player in the starting lineup spares him anything.

Ayton is interesting. I think OG is too valuable for him but GTJ isnt enough

My point is you can't separate between 1 guy guarding Giannis and the other just roaming and rebounding especially with his defensive system and switching. no OG obviously doesn't help matters. But the defensive workload is very high regardless.

Re: [Jake Fisher] The word surrounding OG Anunoby’s trade candidacy
Why are reporters allowed to write whatever they want about NBA players but cry foul and act like victims when NBA players call them out lmao. Scottie was just seen with OG at a restaurant in miami the other day you dont think they talked about it? If there were an ounce of truth scottie wouldn't be reacting lol

Agree. Media can say what they want but can’t be upset when players speak back. Just have to deal with it.

To be fair, both could be right.
Klutch could be out there gauging OG's market and at the same time OG could be at dinner with Scottie and telling him he wants to stay in Toronto. If I am out for dinner with coworkers, I am not asking them if they're out there looking for other jobs.
The only thing I take from this is again, the Raptors online fan base is full of trash.
