The wildcards are the twins, I'm not bothering trying to evaluate them in a glorified HS setting but they could add to the star power of this draft if they pan out.

Yeah that's the only problem with the twins. I wished they played in the NCAA. The G-League is a ridiculous place for draft prospects to go to. Either play in college or go to Europe. LOL.

The twins have a ton of talent in my opinion. Both are great athletes as well. Just a bit harder to evaluate them.

I want Zach Edey idc what ppl say, he can play. He's gonna be one of the most productive players for team Canada for the next 15 years. If this was the 90s he'd go #1

We might be able to get Edey undrafted if he falls

I haven't watched enough of Edey...

But my early favorite POTENTIAL 2nd rounders (obv there's a chance they're taken late 1st):

Sidy Cissiko - he just has all physical tools & skillset but whatever reason has been able to shine in Scoot's shadow as well as hoped
Leonard Miller - jumper again needs work but the way he's able to move around is guard-like, obv more a project but I'd say he was likley a bit ahead of a similar player like Dalano
Adem Bona - just great raw physical tools & high motor, late starter but has picked up on the game pretty quickly
Jordan Walsh - one of the best perimeter defenders in the draft, gotta improve his jumper but mechanics look solid, reminds me a bit of the real Ron Harper lol

I would've added Hendricks but I don't think he's as much a sleeper anymore, probably goes some in the late teens to early 20s, same goes with Sensabaugh but of course if they did they would jump to the top of my list. Ricky Council might also be a nice pick up if he slips but those would be the names I'm highest on that may be potentially in the 2nd round.

Luka Garza got drafted #52, so someone will draft Edey even with 2 forfeited picks in the 2nd.

Charlotte has the Jazz pick at #46 right now. He shouldn't get past them, there.

Haven't seen enough of him to comment on potential but 2 significant injuries in same calendar year means he will drop in the draft. The fragile label is hard to shake.

Reminds me of Harrison Barnes.

The problem is that they play for OTE and not the G league. Had they gone to the G league and still produced there, no one would be concerned. OTE is basically HS ball.

Very hard to evaluate them.

I wouldn't compare him to Barnes at all. He's a smooth bucket getter. Barnes was always so stiff, even in college. This board was infatuated with him for some reason calling him the Black Falcon or something, but he was never that guy. The only similarities I see between Barnes and Whitehead are that they kinda look alike.

He's absolutely going OFF from a scoring standpoint. I'd be inclined to compare his game to Paul Pierce. I'm not sure if he can have that sort of impact over his career, but their scoring styles and body types are similar.

Who does he defend on an NBA court though? The wing? Or the 4 spot? I just don't know.

I'm getting Jared Sullinger vibes

What happened to Emoni Bates? 6’10 shooting guard who can get buckets. KD-lite

He's at Eastern Michigan and chucking it up decently, with 30ft range and one of the quickest releases.

I can see him as a microwave scorer off the bench. Maybe a 6'10 Malik Monk.

Read on Twitter

He's a shot maker, if he's hot give him more minutes, if not then less. He's what the Raptors don't have off the bench, someone that can get hot.

No interest in Bates whatsoever.

Big fish in a small pond. He’s leading his team to the very bottom of a horrible conference. Basically transferred somewhere that’ll let him do whatever he wants

And his dad is a problem

His offense is legit elite. To me he looks like Demar (footworkwise), with Kawhi's strength and shooting range/efficiency. I think you have to hide him on defense though if he plays his natural position (SF) or play him as a mismatch 4/5 depending on his wingspan.

PHX should pass on FVV and draft Cason. I think that would be a nice fit there. Both bridges and cason can protect booker. He’s just solid and real good defensively. If he could become Jrue thats a steal in teens

This kid Anthony Black looks like he's the truth on the defensive end. He seems like a very Raptorsy type pick. Black and Barnes has a nice ring to it.

But he can't shoot that well.

In this league, if you can be ultra efficient in the non-effecient spots (while still being good-great from), youre a monster in the playoffs. And thats what Brice is. Dude's got the DD middy footwork while being absolutely elite from 3. He's why i want a 2nd pick in the 10-15 range (PHX)

When has this front office ever prioritized shooting when looking at potential draftees?

If it's shooting we're after then the only two options are Miller and Dick, if we're looking at the top 5.

Lewis and George can be added if we're looking at lottery in general.

What do people here know about this French kid Rayan Rupert? He's mocked in the lottery on NBAdraft.net but I haven't read or seen anything about him here.
