Game 2 will be reffed a lot more fair and its on our players to step up, because if they do I can see us blowing them out. THe nets did what they had to do, steal a game and head home with a tied series. This is the time to look in the mirror, think and remember how we were a good road team. We can't forget what made us good, gotta get back to the fundamentals and get the next 2 games.
disagree. i think the first quarter was definitely a bit iffy on ref calls, but it evened out in the rest of the game. fouls were 19-23, with nets getting two techs, so the calls were fairly even.
doesn't help that the raptors are also one of the worst in the league at fouling.
I didn't watch the game, I'm assuming based on what many other posters have said. The raps played crap but it seemed (from what I read) the refs made some timely calls. Prior to the game, I did think of the possibility of the refs having a major part in the result of the game. Sometimes its not really how many each team got, its the timing of calls, if team is on a run, ruining the momentum etc I don't blame the refs for the loss, just merely stating that I thought of this actually happening before game began.
