How so? They aren't getting DJ for free....
Getting DJ, they would have to give up something. Most likely TT + expiring (probably Frye) + maybe a pick.
The expirings could be one of Calderon, Green, or Frye, IMO most likely Frye to get the contracts to work.

TT+Frye works in the trade checker. Giving up Frye, gives up their stretch big. Leaving really only KLove, who has a broken hand!.
Without Frye and TT, Cleveland turns into JV food.

The way they are playing + the improvements to our team across the board. I don't feel scared of Cleveland anymore.

If the Cavs get DJ it will definitely solve a lot of their problems. Lebron / Love / DJ is a solid front 3. DJ plays well off the ball and will mostly be dunking and taking lobs. He would also be a defensive anchor for them down low and allow for Love to move back to his natural position. The Cavs need DJ, I don't think he's worth the Nets pick though.

Never doubt LeBron and the Refs in the playoffs. They are going to the finals.

Not vey scared anymore, no. I think we just have too much depth. LeBron is amazing, but he's also a year older with a much worse supporting cast. We also have better defenders - OG and Siakam - to throw at him this year.

That said, I'd prefer not to face them until the ECF. Ideally the Cavs and Celtics face off in the semis and we meet the victor in the ECF.

It's crazy for Raptors fan to be so cocky about the freakin' playoffs. LeBron is a proven commodity in the Playoffs - he gets better. Raptors are unproven and their two best players have been up & down in the Playoffs and the best run in our history was based on Vogel having a huge brain fart that I believe was the beginning of the end for him with the Pacers.

The Raptors in the DD/Lowry era got bounced in the 1st round by the geriatric Nets / swept by the Wizards / made a great run to the ECF but based on Vogel having an all-time coaching choke job in the final minutes of Game 7 in the 1st round where he left a hot Paul George on the bench too long to let a big lead slip and the series slip from the Pacers grip / had a tough series with a young Bucks squad and have these Cavs that the Raps shouldn't be scared of stop their season the last two seasons....

Raps are looking very impressive but they have been a great regular season team for awhile. The weakening East esp the usual powerhouse Cavs does open windows for this team to get to the Finals but history (even recent history) has shown this Raps team can falter in the Playoffs no matter how good they look in the regular season so there shouldn't be any team Raps or their fans should take likely. Don't anoint these guys Kings when they haven't proven their worth in the Playoffs against the King.

You're right that we haven't proven anything, but it's pretty clear this isn't your typical Raptor regular season team, either. The stats say this is an elite offensive and defensive team, with better ball movement and more options on the offensive end. I doubt any teams hope they match up with the Raptors this year.
