Yo, guys. The toilet paper thing is overblown. The stores will restock and have been restocking pretty quickly. There is no supply chain issue, other than the logistics of what can be loaded on a truck.

There are other nations in the World that receive all of their TP from China and their supply chain was obviously compromised. With the internet being the internet, that unrational fear of there being a TP shortage spread faster than Covid-19 itself.

We don't have a supply chain issue because all of our TP comes from pulp mills in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec and Ontario. The forestry industry is strong here, and Canada is 100% self sufficient in toilet paper production.

The problem is guessing what day they restock so you can be there early in the morning before the hoarders buy up everything again. It's like Boxing Day/Black Friday, but for toilet paper. Hopefully people will calm down in a week or two.

Things have been changing daily, with everything shutting down. It's not crazy to think that one day not all grocery stores are open. So in that case, better to stock up on everything now.

exactly, pretty sure it will happen suddenly too. So people are scared but my only problem is people hoarding stuff! like no need to buy so much of one product. If people think everything will be shuttdown completely for months and months then having enough toilet paper should be the least of our problems

It means I'm an alpha male. I will walk over betas and not think twice.

It means you're self-centered, panicking , and not brave at all, if you ask me. But you pretend you're all that and that hoarding a year of pasta and ass wipe is necessary, and flex in the mirror to yourself.

And do your wife a favour and buy some cottonelle wipes for yourself.

it's right on the container.

Hold up. The world is shutting down around us due to a highly contagious disease and you calling out someone who wants to make sure his family is stocked up with supplies if he goes out of commission.

I have friends who share the same logic as you. They complain about how their mom's, who they live with, are panicking and stocking up. Some people don't have the luxury to depend on others.

I own my home and depend on nobody. I’m just not panicking like a child which is refusing to use logic. Hold up.., you think that the disease is actually the biggest threat? It isn’t. And you're at an age where your friends still live which their moms and you think you even understand what I think about all of this or that you know know why? You don’t. Not even close.

i mean, you dont want the zombies to smell all that **** when your toilet is overflowing because of those wipes.

or even better yet: much better for the environement and overall more hygenic.

early morning is fine but my best guess is all that is gone by 10-11amz, specially if youre in a busy part of the city.
Google "Hind Rajab"

Israel kills a child every 45 minutes and ban aid workers from bringing in baby formula
Total being starved by Israel = 500,000 -1,000,000

Sheep! It’s time like these that you realize how many people are really brain dead.

At this stage, people who are buying regular stock of toilet paper are probably worried that the hoarders will take everything, leaving none for themselves. One group panicking will have a downstream impact on everyone else.

I'm glad it steered in this direction. I didn't know I needed a bidet toilet seat until I read this thread. I'm actually going to buy one.
Same for me too. Never felt like I needed one until this thread. Realgm changing my life. Thanks for all the tips.

The faster we do a real lock down like San fran, the better Ontario will be.

Pretty sure all of us have friends of varying ages.

You put yourself out there, you say things like ", panicking like a child". You obviously have no one else to think about except yourself. Nothing wrong with that. But don't pretend the way you live is somehow better or smarter than the way others do.

If you can't understand some people have responsibilities to others who depend on them than God bless you and be on your way.

they won't close grocery stores. our food supply and supply of toilet paper/etc is fine.

stocking up is fine, but don't go super overboard. we don't know how long this will last. i bet a whole lot of stuff will end up going to waste

When you say I’m like your friends that live with mom, then don’t complain when I say panicking like a child. You want to start it up and the play the victim after? Well if that isn’t just so damn entitled and hypocritical. Just as it is when you say good bless and on you way...lmfao at that. You don’t have a clue how many people other people are responsible for or in what ways they might be. Pretty sure I have your age group and what you’re going to teach me exactly right.

And how are people not thinking only of themselves when panic buying? Because they are thinking of their wife? Jesus...if that isn’t just lying to yourselves when you say their are other peop,e to think about.. And the fact that you think stock up before anyone else is required is the really joke. I wouldn’t be shocked if it turned out most people already had two months of food in their house but it just wasn’t their so they had to buy a year of chips and pop.
