You keep thinking that but I dont want to see you crying half way through the season about his contract.

Looks like you're doing enough crying for the rest of us.

This is a good deal, we gave him what other players at his level are getting. Considering Jeremi Grant $20 mill a year we did very well.

Yup this is a fine deal.
In our title season he would have been the 5th highest paid player on our team.

No we don’t. lol We can still sign Giannis next year.

Raps still project to have a max slot available next year. If it gets tight, they could always move Norm. Creating a max slot isn't a problem at all. Getting a player worthy of a max is the hard part.

It's not the money to sign him that's the issue. It's dumping Fred's contract for an all-star that Giannis wants to play with that's an issue.

Can't see Washington being interested in an overpayed role player when the collusion with Bradley Beal happens. Just an example of the type of stuff that could be needed to get him here

Freddy was infuriating at times to watch, but it's because he was our most reliable shot creator since Siakam choked. That's not his role

If we get a real star than FVV, who is a sniper and elite defender, is great for even 21m.

He even took a discount in the second year for a chance at Giannis.

They can easily trade that, calm down

Nah this is a bad contract you don't sign contracts like this hoping you can trade it later. 21 million for this overrated chucker is a joke. Same people in here saying its a fair deal will be crying by mid season. But leave it to raptors fans to overrate the hell out of mediocre players

Nah, the only people that are gonna be crying about this midseason are the same ones crying about it now. If there's one unfortunate fact about this board, is that posters like you will never quit crying

The deal isn't bad but I really hope we can get Dipo somehow. I really hate the undersized 2 guard lineup so we need to get a legit SG.

Can't really complain about the deal.

He'll be our starting PG soon enough.

This is fair price for Fred.

Say what you want about his play, but there would be a HUGE gap in our leadership core if he left. Fred's the face of our development department, and next to Kyle, he might be the most important voice in the locker room. You don't let that guy go unless it's for an absurd amount, which this contract definitely is not.
