A swiss army knife, in his 1st season he averaged 10/7/1/1/1 and in his prime peaked at 22/12/2/2/2.
Because he played with Kidd and later Nash, he didn't need to develop the playmaking side of his game to the extent that we're expecting Scottie to. But, I'm thinking, if I'm being optimistic, The Matrix is a likely floor for Barnes.
Well the thing with Shawn is they play different. Marion was a guy who stood on the three point line, hit shots, attacked closeouts and made plays in transition. He wasn't a high usage guy and was a player who fed off a primary ball handler. Barnes is more of a creator than he is a finisher and has more upside as a halfcourt shot creator specifically their pullup game, Marion was limited by a funky release. Marion's sneaky good though.
