He's an extremely good player when healthy. Sure fire scorer. Solid defender. Would give us another ball handler.

Only worry is his injury concerns and how healthy he looks when he comes back

Indiana: Dragic, Flynn, Good 2nd from team X, meh 2nd from us
Toronto: Warren, someone useless like Mo Harkless or 2 Laker minimum vets
Team X: Justin Holliday

Indy gets a young, cheap potential backup PG and saves money next year and gets a 2nd. Team X gets a 3 and D guy. We get TJ Warren and next year it's 2 of him, Boucher and the non-Tax MLE and we sneak under the luxury tax as long as Warren or Boucher don't go over 15M, which we aren't giving them anyways.

But we're probably not trading even a 2nd for a 28 year old who hasn't played in a year.

Bjorkgren and Warren can be together?

it was mostly a joke, but would you really say no? that trade makes the Raps an instant contender assuming KD is healthy with a 3-4 year window

death lineup of:
Vanvleet
GTJ
OG
KD
Siakam

I get the intrigue, but I'd definitely say no... There's a 14 year age difference there, that's a long time for us to roll with Scottie. When you consider how impressive he's been in his rookie season, and there's so much upside for the organization to tap into and reap the benefits for years to come.

Brian Windhorst on Pelicans: From what I understand, they have talked to the Blazers about CJ McCollum, they have talked to the Kings about De’Aaron Fox, they have talked to the Rockets about Eric Gordon, they have talked to the Hawks about Kevin Huerter, probably more than I don’t know about. Pelicans are buying.’

Brian Windhorst on Pelicans: ‘They’re pretty active looking to buy even though they’re outside of the top 10 right now. Maybe they won’t be able to buy but it won’t be for the lack of trying. Because from what I understand they got this whole portfolio of draft picks, including the top-10 protected Lakers’ pick. (…) And they have made Josh Hart available.’

Dragic + Boucher + Flynn + FRP for JV and Hart. Who says no?

Could a trio of Luka/CJ/Porzingis contend? With in-shape Luka?

What type of value does Dragic even have on the market?

Would the Cavs part with their 1st + Rubio (injured) in order to get a vet for the playoffs?

It doesn't make us better this year, but we'd get an additional pick.

Thats crazy to think anyone would give up a 1st for Dragic.

no, we wouldn't be better after this trade at all losing Boucher and wouldn't give up a first for that package. JV doesn't fit here with what Nurse wants to do defensively. I'd do dragic and 2023 lottery protected 1st for Hart and Hayes(or NAW and filler)

I’d be low key thrilled to see us just make some fringe improvements to the bench and see this small ball experiment through.

Between dragic, birch, Flynn and a couple of second round picks

Hoping for a minimum of delon wright and nerlen Noel isn’t too much to ask for!

Re: Kemba

According to a source, the Knicks would like to trade him by the deadline. That would likely open up a spot for the recently acquired Cam Reddish, because Alec Burks would slide into the point-guard role.

One NBA source said he doubts any team would be willing to give up anything beyond a future second-round draft pick for Walker.

“It’s not that a team won’t want him, but I don’t see [anyone] giving up something valuable,’’ the source said. “I can definitely see a team rolling the dice with Kemba.’’

Like I said. Kemba plus Burks for dragic. Won’t require any picks from our end. We might even be able to finagle a SRP from the Knicks for taking on Kembas contract.

Had no idea walker is considered this bad around the league now. Just 2 years ago he was crushing us with some timely shots in the playoffs.

His injuries were pretty bad. Having said that he still has value off waivers or buyout but no lux tax team will want to add his contract onto their rosters right now.

a 1st for Dragic is only realistic if a team is dumping a terrible longterm deal.
