Love the guy but broadcasting wasn't his thing, quite frankly it's a miracle they've given Alvin so much time but I'll give him that at least he's improving.

If no Vassell or Johnson then who scores for this team. McDermott or Bates Diop? Poeltl? This game should be cancelled because the Spurs will be fielding a sickly, inexperienced team that has no chance of winning. We could end up getting the whole team sick.

If Johnson is out they can't replace his scoring. Agreed. Guys like Sochan are happy to take more shots. Trey Jones is a really good scorer and he's a rare past-first point guard. He might call his own number a few extra times tonight.

They might start Zack Collins for Johnson. He's looking pretty decent out there. Sochan can slide to the 3.

I suspect the more Poeltl plays, the less we'll see of Koloko, w/ Scottie and Precious basically drawing him out of the paint.

I doubt Nurse will want to see many Poeltl vs. Koloko minutes. This feels the opposite of the Hawks game where you could expect Trae/Murray to get a foot into the paint often and wanting a drop-big to deter.

Same, I have all day for Alvin. I always felt his awkwardness would fade and I just value the court insight and what he sees.
