Love the guy but broadcasting wasn't his thing, quite frankly it's a miracle they've given Alvin so much time but I'll give him that at least he's improving.

Mo makes Alvin look like Hubie Brown by comparison.

I always liked Alvin from day 1 just as a relief from Leo. He took a lot of unfair cheap shots here, but this season he really has improved. Last game was a very good one for him.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

If Johnson is out they can't replace his scoring. Agreed. Guys like Sochan are happy to take more shots. Trey Jones is a really good scorer and he's a rare past-first point guard. He might call his own number a few extra times tonight.

They might start Zack Collins for Johnson. He's looking pretty decent out there. Sochan can slide to the 3.

I suspect the more Poeltl plays, the less we'll see of Koloko, w/ Scottie and Precious basically drawing him out of the paint.

I doubt Nurse will want to see many Poeltl vs. Koloko minutes. This feels the opposite of the Hawks game where you could expect Trae/Murray to get a foot into the paint often and wanting a drop-big to deter.

Rather listen to Alvin than Leo. We already know what Leo is. Alvin has made strides.

Actually, I would rather watch Leo mow down a bowl of wings post-game

Same, I have all day for Alvin. I always felt his awkwardness would fade and I just value the court insight and what he sees.

I couldn't stand Leo, added nothing to the broadcast imo. May as well have had a podcaster beside Matt.

Yakub Purrtl will absolutely have his way with Koloko (PAUSE) on both sides of the ball if they are matched up one on one.

I don't love listening to Alvin, but have to admit he's getting better. That said, 100% needed relief from Leo. He added literally nothing.

On a Spurs related note. I was thinking about the rumor of Ben Simmons going out west for a shooter.

To me, Doug McDermott+Josh Richardson for Simmons makes sense. Simmons gets a stress-free place to play PG and defend, while the Nets move on and get decent playable assets. Maybe the Spurs pry a couple picks for taking on the added salary.

Curious if the Spurs showcase these two vets tonight to help sway the Nets.

For those who care (maybe will and Reeko): I scored 100% today and the next test isn’t til Tuesday, which means I can enjoy the game tonight guilt-free.

Peanut butter-filled M&Ms shall be devoured this evening.

Unreal that Brooklyn is still trying to salvage this. The writing was on the wall, now it's etched in bronze.

If I were them I'd be trying to get as many draft picks and young players as I could and join the Wemby sweepstakes.

They aren't winning anything with that team.

How many shooters do the Nets need? They should be all over Poeltl is they can get him.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Spurs are ruining their tank
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.
