Tough for a guy to be a fantastic player in modern NBA when he struggles to score 10pt a game.

By now, that one is played out.
We all know the type of player he is..he has never looked to be a scorer while everyone wants to shoot 3s and score 30 points per game without defending.
You have to appreciate a player that can impact a game on both ends without having to score.
Playing at DPOY-Level(1 through 5) while being a triple-double threat: He is still the only one that can do that==> A fantastic player.

I'm happy for his sake. Didn't see any highlights, I wonder if he still tries hard not to get fouled in the act. Early season, and last year, he would often begin a great looking drive but then kick it out rather than risk finishing and getting fouled. I wonder how he got his 10 points

I agree that was who he was at one point but the player you're describing hasn't existed in 3 years.

If you saw him play next to KD and Kyrie he was a timid player that seemed afraid to go to the basket.

He was injured with KD & Kyrie which led to that back surgery and then having a needle in his spine(epidural injection).
The man has played less than 50 games in 3 seasons and look at him yesterday after missing 30+ games ..he was all over the court in 20 minutes.
Though anything is possible these days, after all Michael Porter Junior has managed to stay on the court for 2 straight seasons, he has been injured a lot from day 1; like serious injuries on his foot, knee and back.

He still does it, he did it yesterday... however it was for those "analytical 3s" thus everybody should be happy!

if you didn't watch the game you didn't see how much he improved their offense.

people need to start to actually watch the games instead of relying simply on a box score to make their opinion.

The game has evolved because there is just so much skill compared to 90s / 2000s
but i agree i would like to see more defensive attention to the game

Porzingas back tonight. Not such a long time off after all.

With Chad and Wemby on the scene we forget what a unicorn Porzingas was considered when he came in

He's just been on Markannen's ass the entire game and calmly scored a couple baskets...which is always a pleasant surprise

Brunson: So what are you paid to do?
Hart: Run around like an idiot during the game and f*** s*** up!

In his best stretches Raptor board fans thought he could be another OG on D. Good at switching out onto perimeter guys. I'm glad he's having a good run of games since the Raptor game.

The past week or two he's looked a lot calmer. Still does some really baffling things...someone's gotta replace Julius  ...but Achiuwa's been way less chaotic in our past 5-6 games.
