Kelly O's 2 year deal ended up negative value as we paid a SRP to unload it.
Boucher is untraded.

really telling that I have to explain these to you

Cool. So we basically traded a mid round 1st and nothing else for a former all star in his prime....and you're still crying.

We traded a mid FRP and nothing else for a expiring 1-time all star with poor defense, who is consistently injury prone, and will be demanding $40M+ AAV. It's not some heist.

you are still crying about my crying

His goalposts seem to have legs too.

I really have to spell this out for you? You use the rest of the season to see what you have with this group, if it’s not working you have the offseason to make changes, potentially one of those changes could be sign and trading Ingram to another team, we already know Atlanta wants him.

Raps seem firmly entrenched in the 5-8 draft position. Play him strategically to end the season. Let's hope.

Who are these pathetic fans that never show their face here but go rant about the team and Masai on the general board?

Been hating on masai since the COVID year but loving the moves he's made the past year or so.

Happy hes not doing the multiyear tank.

He's put us in a position to get a top 5 pick this year but also be a competitive team next year with potential.

I’m really not counting on this and nobody in their right mind should, but yeah.. just imagine for a moment Dylan Harper added to this squad as it stands

F king future powerhouse. Quickley and RJ would essentially be our bench squad if not traded ffs.

I’m sure he will play at some stage. On the days when Barrett and Poeltl or Quickley (who is pretty much taking the entire season off) are on holiday sure..

I think we just need to see what he looks like with Barnes. The rest he can take a holiday. We know what kind of player he is already,

Exactly, we are in a position where IQ/RJ could become expendable as part of a trade for the next superstar who wants out. That would be in addition to having a core of Harper/Barnes/Ingram with a bench full of young depth.

The upcoming lottery is so crucial to our potential ceiling as a franchise going forward so it'll be pointless to argue until we know who we draft. The best thing on our side is Masai has shown to draft the best player possible majority of the times.

Didn't we move two of those guys and a middling 1st for Ingram? Do you even know what your whining about at this point?

yes I do.

Bruce Brown ended up with near 0 value; he was simply salary balast for facilitating the BI trade. Watch Pelicans buy him out, which confirms he's trade value is 0, but salary matching. The only way one can argue Bruce Brown had value is if we sent him to a team that will actually give him minutes.
Kelly O's 2 year deal ended up negative value as we paid a SRP to unload it.
Boucher is untraded.

really telling that I have to explain these to you

Dude it’s wrong not worth it lol. These guys only say facts that match their opinions and choose to ignore everything else. No kind of logic will work with people like, this it’s personal for them.

it's pretty nice bounceback, to have Barnes, BI along with RJ, IQ and a bunch of youngster plus a lotto pick
and all your own picks

still doesn't beat san antonio though

Fox, Wemby plus Castle, Vassel, Schohan, Johnson and a bunch of picks

Just based in value alone, the BI trade was a HR. The man is a bucket, he's a former all star and he has room to grow. He wants to be here, already waived his trade bonus to help the team and there's no doubt he re-signs.

He traded all the expirings aside from our hometown boy who most didn't want to see gone. He got out of Kelly's contract, which he gave a 2nd to do (other teams paid a premium to get out of deals).

He gave up Indys 1st(17-23 range)for BI which doesn't affect us tanking, u gotta pay for all stars.

He learned from past mistakes and traded Davion and got something for him rather than him walking for nothing and recouped that 2nd he gave up

Honestly, in the past 8 months these guys have been cooking. Yes we still need a back up C but let's not forget that should have been Porter

I'm giving them an A

I'm happy to be wrong about Pelicans buying out Bruce Brown. It means they will win more games and we will end up with better draft position than them. TWO

Crazy 4D chess move by Masai. Sent Bruce and Kelly over to ruin their tank. 8-)

50% have him at A- or higher with an additional 26% at B or B+

That is a pretty damn good rating for an exec in his 12th year running a team.
