It's a coincidence because an African born player was just waived due to a life threatening condition.

Where the hell did you get that Chomche has a life threatening condition?

The reporting said he would be referred to the Fitness-to-Play panel.

The parties shall establish panels of physicians (each a “Fitness-to-Play Panel”) for the purpose of determining, as set forth in this Section 11, whether players with potentially life-threatening injuries, illnesses, or other medical conditions (or any of the foregoing that have the potential to result in paralysis or other permanent spinal injury) are medically able and medically fit to practice and play basketball in the NBA.

Either life threatening or a condition that could result in paralysis. Either way, very serious and not something that had anything to do with Masai not being here.

OH sheesh completely missed that.

Koloko, now Chomche, and even Porter. We have the worst luck with backup C prospects.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

I want to see Ingram score 50 points in a game this season.

Remember some were asking how was everyone going to get minutes? This is how. Teams rarely have a fully healthy squad.

At least we have playable depth now vs a few years ago.

It kinds of sucks that the schedule starts off hard. This offense will need time to gel and they didn’t play together enough in preseason

Yep - so tonight is:

Quickley / Shead
Barrett / Dick
Ingram / Agbaji
Barnes / Mogbo
Poeltl / Mamu

Would Mamu be any worse than Gradey playing at the 3 on defense? He showed some nice quickness on offense

Interesting. I'd pencil in Ingram for an easy 20 points for every game.

WHAT DO THEY KNOW? Is Jalen Johnson about to shut him out?

Yeah, I don’t gamble but Ingram over 18.5 and Scottie under 18.5 seems the most likely. Especially Ingram over. That does seem very low to set a line.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

The amount of people still giving hot takes about the Chomche situation is mind boggling. This is not news.

Pretty trash of Rogers to relegate this game to sportsnet one already

Well, at least we still have our FRP.

I feel no pressure this season. It's auditioning time for everyone including Bobby at the top. A clean slate for all to start the season the way I see it.

Thats wrong... there's tons of pressure this season. If we suck then enjoy sucking for another 5 years and it officially becomes the dark times like pre-masai. If we do well, it could be the start of the uptick like when we first hired Masai.

The team fits kind of funny. If Jakob gets injured it could get ugly. If Scottie struggles and CMB has a bad showing sure I'll stress. I'm more interested in individual performances. And if they lose in a play in well, hello draft! Maybe select a starting calibre PG. ;)

Tons of pressure for Bobby, Darko, and the players. Me, not so much.
