Cat's outta the bag now Scott, go out there and grab those rebounds. Board man gets paid.

8 for 42....19% from your best shooter. Nd he averaged 12 pts in these games. That deserves criticism.

Yeah for sure. I'd just be curious to see other good shooters and how stretches like this line up.

My guess is it's a fairly regular occurrence.

Oh for sure. They get hot. They go cold.

That's why it's funny when people complain about Barnes having bad shooting nights when he isn't a natural scorer in the least.

Oh, Curry's last 5 games...shooting 24% from 3!

When the best can go cold, of course others can too.

So wait, does it deserve criticism or should we be more level headed and issue criticism on larger sample sizes?

Now RJ is back he has less attention, he can absolutely thrive looking for RJ for backdoor cuts and screens as what happened in this game.

Too much wear and tear. We’d still get killed on the glasses.

Scottie playing small ball 5 in small spurts is fine but he can’t do it long term. He’d break down.

That's why we need Yak back, it's all about the matchups.

they are mid when 2 starters are injured....but fully healthy the negative posters won't get too many opportunities to post, they'd probably have to wait until the playoffs

when he was doing this you were crickets. what a joke lol

no one should ever take you seriously

Guy had a bad shooting stretch of games. Happens to literally every high volume 3 point guy.

Still had 43 assists and only 8 turnovers.

I don’t really care if you take me seriously. It’s RealGM, it ain’t that serious chief

Not to mention the guy is still shooting 37% on ~7 3FGA/game on the season while sporting a 57 TS%. He has had some brutal nights over the past few weeks (namely against the Celtics), but he has been pretty solid overall. Some of the IQ hate is a bit over the top, as it always has been on this board when it comes to the play of PGs.

Can we at least be honest?

IQ was getting ripped because for 6 CONSECUTIVE GAMES from 3 shot:

0-4

0-4
1-7
3-10
1-8

8 for 42....19% from your best shooter. Nd he averaged 12 pts in these games. That deserves criticism.

Can YOU be honest? Two of those games were low-volume shooting nights (4 attempts against the Celtics and 4 attempts against the Bucks) and two were pretty average (3/9 against the Heat and 3/10 against the Nets) while the 1/7 and 1/8 games were rough.

It is absolutely wild to me that in 2025 we still have people losing their minds over a two-week stretch where a three-point shooter goes cold. It happens multiple times every single year to just about every single shooter in the league and it is always balanced out by a separate stretch where the guy shoots ~50% over 5ish games.

So it's not ok to complain when your best 3pt shooter shoots 19% over a 2 week period?

Ok

Scottie has the length and strength to get at least 10 boards a game consistently, it's all about the effort.

Steph shot 4/11 in 3 pt shots. Overall he shot 30 shots, if quick shot 4/11 or BI shoot 30 shots, they would’ve been blasted in RGM.

shooters have slumps..get over it.

lol, it is a problem when that's the only thing keeping you in the league. he's also getting paid 35 million. it's okay to have standards and expectations for these guys.

How do you seriously believe all IQ does is shoot?

You dont have a 3.5:1 AST/TO ratio if “all you do is shoot”.

Hes the 4th option offensively, who gets a ton of volume from 3. That’s just asking for wild fluctuations in PPG output and efficiency as it is only 1 or 2 makes a game that take him from “great game” to “horrible game”. But as a 4th option he is actually far from a problem. Not a lot of teams have a better 4th guy tb

Ok

It is perfectly reasonable to complain about your best three-point shooter shooting well below his average for a handful of games, but it’s also important to take a step back and realize that it is more than likely just a shooting slump. And when he gets back on track with back-to-back very good offensive performances, maybe you should give him some credit instead of complaining about a few uncharacteristic turnovers.

I really don’t understand the IQ criticism. He makes a few bad plays per game but is generally pretty reliable in terms of energy and approach. He brings it every night. Sometimes the shots fall and sometimes they don’t. But he mostly plays the same way every game. He’s become quite good this year in my opinion — much better player. Can we talk about how reliable his floater has been? And that he’s gotten stronger and quicker on D? And that he is strong enough to stay in control on his drives? He’s made strides.

IQ needs a C and/or another PG/good playmaker. Otherwise he struggles often. Anyone earning $32M can be criticized for sub par play. Shouldn't even require explanation.

Wish Shead was a bit more aggressive on offense and improves his offensive game overall but I do like that he's pass first and a good defender and competitor. One of the brightest spots on the team.

Scottie shows up in these type of games especially when I saw Draymond trash talking lol.

really special from Barnes and IQ. good game from Ingram too.

GSW really lacks athleticism and they don't/can't play their 2 best athletes.
