Fwiw, I hope Temple stays in the organization. His relationships with the kids is perfect for player development.

he's been great, but we'll likely need his and Boucher's roster spot for our two draft picks

Agreed.

Temple talked about being off for a week for the birth of his child and how it gave him perspective of what life after basketball could be like.

Then made the comment like "and it's coming soon".

Hopefully they have had that convo with him on wanting him part of the staff next year. I really think he can help these kids be better pro's.

Realistically...just one roster spot for the first round pick. The second round pick is either a 2 way player or draft-and-stash overseas.

I'm counting 11 guys on standard NBA contracts for next season. Bring back Boucher and Temple...that's 13 guys. You can have 15 guys plus 3 2-way guys.

I haven't watched national media coverage of the league lately, or followed the discourse around it, so I had no idea it had gotten THIS bad. Shaquille O'Neal thought the Pistons were 4 games under .500 and that Chauncey Billups was their coach.

You watch Shai just destroy defenses by himself and then look at who our best guys to counter that output are and realize we have no shot lol

Is it a great group of talent? Outside of Booker and Durant it's pretty meh.

I feel like the only reason he's even on the team still is because he'll be part of the coaching staff soon enough

Heat continue to lose since trading Butler. It’s wild how they might still make the playoffs considering they should beat the Bulls and then they’ll likely play Atlanta.

Fred had 37 points. Rockets have won every game since Fred came back.

 you know you could have just skipped the heat part and spoke about Fred from beginning. Btw, I don't really care too much about your and Mcdenny fight against this board regarding Fred I just find it all entertaining so keep doing you.

The fact you’re responding says you do care. The fact you think it’s a “fight against the board” is also pretty bizarre. There are a lot of references to Fred (the ones who like him and dislike him) by many posters on here, I’m certainly not the one constantly making them.

And yet he was drafted 11th overall, right within the treadmill zone.
