That was Dickie V, as the camera was cutting away, shouting "He's Dwyane Wade baby!"

Dr Mufasa wrote:I agree Beal can fall to 8. Something like this:
NOH - Davis
CHA - Robinson
WAS - MKG
CLE - Leonard or Lamb: They've gone off the board before
SAC - Drummond
POR - Lillard or whoever CLE doesn't take of Leonard/Lamb: Lillard and Leonard fit their needs more + don't rule out any team to prefer Lamb to Beal if they take SG
GSW - Barnes or Sullinger: I would bet on them passing on Beal if he gets there, Klay Thompson is great and they need a SF or another big

They can look to pair Wall up with a strong PF in Robinson, a versatile guard in Beal or an all around SF in MKG depending on CHA passing him up.
Mehar wrote:People need to get real. Barnes or Beal will not be there at 8. Stop talking best case scenario. Be realistic. Golden State from what I read from someone who covers them on a regular basis basically stated that Barnes was their guy if he falls. Beal will not last past 5 or 6 max. Might as well trade the pick for an upgrade at the 3, with Danillo Gallinari my top choice instead of Gay or Iguodala. Gallinari signed a 4 year 42 million dollar extension, making about 8 million less than Gay for the next 3 seasons, is younger and an overall better bang for the buck than Gay. In the NBA, salary cap matters, and tying over 18 million bucks to Gay for the next three seasons is not the smartest move to make for this Franchise, since they already stated they would not be paying the Luxury Tax. A package of Davis, the 8th Pick, both second round picks and a guy like Kleiza might do it, since Denver already threw a boatload of money to sign their other SF Wilson Chandler. If not, throw in Calderon as well to make the deal happen.

I think Drummond could easily fall to the Raptors, he's a risky pick but has high upside. Teams might just go with the safest pick/position of need.
1. Davis NOH
2. Robinson CHA
3. MKG Wizards
4. Beal Cleveland
5. Harrison Barnes Sacramento
6. Lillard Portland
7. PJ III/Waiters/Drummond GSW
They have some atrocious contracts but it seems like the two players that would easily fit into their system would be PJ and Waiters who can each play 2 positions. Drafting Drummond wouldn't make much sense unless they plan on amnestying Biedrins.
8. Drummond TOR or Lamb if Drummond is gone.
The fact that BC mentioned every possible prospect except for Lamb while saying teams don't want to show their full hand really says something.

With Lillard wowing in workouts it's VERY possible that someone like Drummond drops. And if he does, I'll say it for the 100th time. CALL HAKEEM!

What's funny is that I had lunch with Terrence Ross' agent yesterday. We talked about every possible scenario. Toronto never came up.
