I don't know if Sixers would deal Iggy for Derrick Williams. It doesn't really make sense when they have a player like Thad Young who is similar. I thought they wanted to keep making the playoffs and not rebuild again.

The Pacers I can see doing it since they made the Playoffs only because the East sucks and they are still half way in rebuilding mode but I don't think T-Wolves want Granger. He's a pure SF and he would not fit in well with Beasley and Love. Someone is not going to get their shots and that is all Granger and Beasley is good for since they can't create for others.

Would you take d.will or kanter?

In Philly's case, I'm thinking they take Kanter at 2 if they trade into that spot. In the case of Indiana, I think they'll take Derrick Williams and plug him alongside Hansborough/Hibbert. If Milwaukee trades into that spot, I think they'll go with Derrick Williams, and will probably get a C like Pekovic or Darko back in return for Bogut.

I like both of them, and I hope we get one of those two with our pick. Kanter reminds me of Monroe, and Biyombo reminds me of a Noah/Garnett type of gritty, in-your-face defender (I posted a video with an example of why). Both would make me much more optimistic about our team's outlook than anyone else.

Yeah. I don't think Kanter will be available to us, but it'd be a tough choice between the two for me at 5. I don't really want to draft Walker or Knight. I don't think either has upside beyond what Bayless already has.

Bargnani for Varejuo is a credible deal for who, the raps? We have like 3 Varejuo on the team already. Bargs has to have more value than Varejuo in ya'all eyes, geez.

If you wanna make a splash do 2011 #5 + 2012 Unprotected + Ed Davis for D.Cousins and 2011 #7

No idea.......don't really care.

I think Cleveland needs to get younger & they need scoring. An Irving/ Bargnani scoring combo could be potent. You throw Kanter in there & you have 3 young scorers.

PG - Irving/ Davis
SG - ????
SF - Jamison
PF - Bargnani/ Hickson
C - Kanter/ Hollins

That fills a lot of holes from them, gives them youth & a ton of scoring. They have some nice vets still that will work as trade chips as they expire. It allows the young guys to develop while the team still sucks enough to get a decent pick next season.

They seemingly want a guard, I believe we want a C. Their guard will be available at #5 and our C will most likely not get past #4.

If we were to agree on principle to draft Knight if they draft Kanters, swap picks and add maybe $500,000, I think they would be silly not to bite.

That actually makes alot of sense....but damn I felt like we need a better point guard...I can't convert from Kemba back to kanter LOL. Maybe a kabongo in 2012 is worth the wait...and stick with our Kanter + Davis duo plan 8-)

With Bayless on the books for one more season, barring a lockout, I would like to allow him the fullest opportunity to show his worth. That means a full training camp and a starting position with 25 plus minutes a night. Next season will have some nice options at the PG spot, probably better than this years draft.

Kanters fills exactly what we need today. It also put pressure on BC to move Andrea.

Coming out of this offseason with no Bargnani (replace by Varejao) and maybe Kemba Walker or even another Centre in Enes Kanter is a dream scenario.

I don't think he has much more value. C's/ PF's are held at a premium for their defense.

In this case, it's a straight up trade of Offense for Defense.

I think Davis can develop into a legit 3rd scoring option. He has it in him.

You draft a guy like Varejao to develop the team & replace him with someone younger down the road.

That 2012 pick is a top 5 in a deep draft, i'd rather not do that trade, its like saying one of gilchrist, rivers, davis, or macadoo, kemba knight biyombo or kanter, and davis for cousins and probably biyombo.

Has it gotten to the point where BC HAS to deal Bargnani? Unless it has (like it did with Ford, Caldy last offseason), I'm not sure he gets dealt.

We're going no where until he transforms into a shooting guard. He HAS to be dealt for us to do anything or even grow because he's just taking shots away from the younger guys at this point.

Biyombo fanboys are eerily quiet.

Went over to the bismack bandwagon board last night ...they were talking about how optimistic they are on his offense saying his offensive skills will pan out in 3 yrs along with that DOY type defense....I say that's alot of BULL talk.

Thats odd.... you think the same staff that took a 5.6 ppg big to a 13 ppg in the span of 5 months can't at least make Bismack Biyombo at the very least passable? Then your so far up Kanter's @$$ that you can't see the light of day. I think both Bismack and Kanter have their skills and their flaws, I think they will both be good/great players in this league provided they get the opportunity. The fact that Bismack's skill currently lies on the defensive side of the ball resonates with me and that's why I want him on our team, but that does not mean I think any less of Kanter. Why this board feels the need to segregate themselves to each bandwagon is beyond me.

2011 #5 + 2012 Unprotected + Ed Davis are good enough for an all-star player

Or, we could bring him off the bench. Problem with that, though, is that it might hinder his trade value if he doesn't play well off the bench.

Heh, what a quandary BC has on his hands.

Maybe WhatsaTDot will recommend a good therapist to BC & the Bargnani project will be salvaged.

Totally didn't think of Sixers drafting Kanter at 2. This deal actually makes the most sense for both teams then. T-Wolves get their starting SG who wouldn't take shots away from Beasley and Love and can create. If that deal goes down I want to swap Jazz for their 3rd pick. They don't need D-Will with Hayward at SF and they still get to choose one of Walker/Knight at 5 since the Cavs will have Irving.
