Nigeria plays the worst pick and roll defense. I know they didnt wanted to leave Spanoulis, but that was atrocious.

Isn't there a Spounalis fanboy on this thread somewhere? The guy that said that Kleiza sucks and that PAPANIKOLAOU is better than Linas. This Greek guy is averaging 12 and 3 to Kleiza's 25 and 4.5

Well the real key will be Lithuania winning tonight. The good news is that the Puerto Rico/Lithuania winner will have a chance to play Nigeria to make the Olympics (providing Nigeria does not beat Russia).

Raptor_claw says a lot of things...

Spanoulis had a great tournament, he is one of the best Europe has to offer right now, I was actually surprised his form was that good.

Spanoulis was a beast.

My ideal scenario would be Lithuania beats PR, then beats Macedonia.

Macedonia plays Nigeria for 3rd place and gets dominated lol.

Good luck LT.

Not possible for both Russia and Nigeria to go.

That's right it was Raptor_claw. Well let's hope he wasn't Greek at least. Then again Greece has bigger problems than basketball right now anyways.

Looking forward to the Valaciunas vs Ramos matchup

It's possible alright. Nigeria loses to Russia in semifinals and beats their opponent in a match for 3rd place (3rd ticket to London).

I meant that they would lose the second game if LTU reached that point

Wow Nigeria just shocked the world beating Greece. Ofcourse you cannot deny the fact that in last play Vassilis Spanoulis was fouled! :/

Russia wins semifinal - qualifies
Lithuania wins quarterfinal and semifinal - qualifies
Nigeria loses semifinal and beats Macedonia/Dominican Republic - qualifies

Possible scenario.
