Former Raptor Drew Eubanks started at center for Portland tonight. 10 day contract. 20 minutes, 2 points, 5 boards

His stats were basically non existent but he actually looked solid, especially considering he has barely played any meaningful basketball this season.

Physically held his own against Looney, played pretty solid defense.

His screens were very good too. Probably a better screening big man than anyone we have.

I didn't watch much but did see him rock ne of the Warriors with a solid screen, just a little extra shoulder nudge drew him a foul.

Birch is a good screener though, our best.

Alize Johnson signs a 10 day with Pelicans. Does he count as a former Raptor?

Some guys just hang on bouncing around like that.

I've seen Alize Johnson, Paul Watson and Oshae Brissett mentioned countless times as management blunders for not retaining them! Of course he counts!

Bring him home?

It's too bad he didn't get that chance to suit up with the Raptors during the omicron time.

Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

with those numbers him and Birch would be battling for minutes for our back up C spot..

who can score the least points in 20 minutes. Tough to say

My very limited eye test watching bits of Portland games sees Eubanks as a more active, more of a live body, than Birch. More energy. Not a needle mover of course but he might have contributed. I wish him luck in his career

Lol Serge made Demar answer some pretty touch questions.

Watching them together brought back some memories.

I hope Bruno is on the team next year. He's huge, very mobile, can shoot, barely has to jump to dunk and can protect the rim a bit...
he'd also be a terror in passing lanes. Perfect fit for this incarnation of the team offensively and defensively as a 3/4/5.

Still only 26.

Drew Eubanks just put up 20/9/4 on 8/13 shooting and 2/3 from 3PT.

This guy has had quite a few good games since we cut him currently putting up 13/8/2 over March. Maybe Masai should have evaluated a bit longer.

The next 2 games will decide the 5-7 seed for the eastern conference...top 4 seeds are locked in as well with each other...2 losses & each team can slide from 1-to 4 spots...the east is really tough this year, just like the 2 seasons prior to last year's pandemic affected.
