We know it’s summer league so the stats don’t matter.

It’s the eye test

You can’t even make a legit take by the eye test right now. We all knew Scottie is raw and will need development. Shot is already showing growth

And he’s been parked in the corner and barely had the ball. The team is showcasing the scrubs for the 905 and seeing what the other guys can do. You really can’t judge Scottie off of that half

Norm’s dynamic offense is going to be missed IMO

Masai chasing all these Giannis clones when he is one of a kind and can't be duplicated.

Not gonna lie…This is a bit terrifying after watching Suggs this afternoon

At this point Suggs is a far superior basketball player, Its that simple. The hope is that Barnes can pass him 2-3 years down the road but its a pretty big risk (one i didnt think we needed to take persoanlly)

Yeah I said that mostly based on what I saw out of Suggs this afternoon. I know Scottie has insane potential but Suggs is already one of my favorite players to watch in the league

We aren't using Barnes right on offense. He's had a mismatch the whole second quarter but no one gave him the ball. **** players need to know they are **** and give the ball up

Now I watched Barnes play another half and I’m certain he’s a bust

Making these conclusions after two SL games, nice rationale.

i mean, they making him sit in the corner will banton or johnson run at the rim and throw up a shot.

For the record, future hall of famer Suggs is 15-35 from the floor in summer league.

Banton's point guard skills just super soft. His passess are so fluffy and without purpose. Weak point guard skills. We really gonna regret not taking Jericho Sims

It’s Raptors fans in general. They are so bipolar and over-reactionary. Also, the Suggs fans are poking their head back out to say “I told you so”. If Barnes goes for 16 points next game, they’ll slither back under their bed.

Nah man. I want Barnes to do well. I really do. I think he’ll be good for our team and he’s a vocal guy. But I don’t think he’s the type of player you take top 4 in a loaded draft
