We want no part of david lee on our team, a Bargs/Lee frontcourt is one of the worst-case scenarios for the Raps.

gets rid of jose's ugly contract, we get a big that we are in dire need of, and we get a younge pg who can play better defense than Jose !!

We could do that if we don't draft a PG as well

Just suggesting a trade, thats all I personally wouldnt do this trade at all.The only way I would touch it is if we where going to lose Bosh to LA..But we are all gonna to find out whos going where soon enough.

Raptors trade:
Bosh, Turkoglu

Bulls get Bosh and take Hedo off the Raptors' hands in exchange for the extra cap space.

Raptors get some young talent, Deng to upgrade from Hedo, and Hinrich. Defense should be vastly better, as all those players save Johnson are good on-the-ball defenders, and Johnson mainly just fouls too much.

This deal opens up an additional 12 million in capspace for the Bulls (giving you the ability to sign your two max FA's at 17 million each, or whatever else you want to do), so if you're not giving us Noah, we would need the Bobcats pick, 2010 pick, and Asik coming back.

If we got the thumbs up from LeBron... yeah, I'd do that. Probably not if it was Joe Johnson.

If that's the best deal available I'd take it and try to trade Bargs. You're right though, can't have those two guys playing together.

I think we should trade (not knowing the cap figures and all)

To Toronto:
Gilbert Arenas
#2 Pick

Out:
Demar Derozan
Marcus Banks
Reggie Evans
Hedo Turkoglu
#13 pick

To Philly:
Hedo Turkoglu
Marcus Banks (Epiring)
Demar Derozan

Out:
Elton brand
#2 pick

To Washington:
Elton Brand
Reggie Evans (Expiring)
#13 pick

Out:
Arenas

We move Hedo to a point role that Philly desperately needs, until Jrue develops. Philly gets rid of Elton Brand's contract for a young player in demar Derozan. Washington clears away from Arenas, although taking back Elton Brand, not as bad as Arenas as well as getting a very servicable back up.

For us, we pick up the #2 pick, either Favors or Turner, depending if Bosh leaves or not, and Arenas-whose character issues are a bit suspect and we would definitely need to get some guys to keep him in check. Hopefully this convinces Bosh to stay!!!!

Just saw a Kings fan post he'd be down for #5/Landry/fillers for Bosh. Honestly, I wouldn't mind. Top 5 pick is nice.

Hard to see Bosh going there though.

I appreciate your Homerism, but that's a brutal trade for Philly. Not sure why Wizards would take on Brand for Gilbert (considering they have Blantche and JaVale). Again, appreciate your Homerism.

So pick 28-30, an energy guy and a 17m contract? I dont see the MLSE liking that last part and dont think theres much value in that late of a pick. I suppose AV is piece that could be moved at the trade deadline.

This could be one of those realistic type deals we end up having to swallow but its all kind of yuck imo.

Yea, the problem is Bosh going there, especially after he said no to some fans up in Sacramento. The deal itself is good though...personally I think we could make it Thompson+#5, but in any case we end up with Cousins, Favors, or Wes Johnson as the main piece coming back.

Rapsobsessed7 wrote:what about this if bosh says miami

To TOR: Biedrins + Beasly + Jones + TOR future pick returned
To MIA: Bosh + Calderon
To GSW: TE + #18 + Cook

Jarret Jack / Avery Bradly (13) / Marcus Banks
Demar Derozan / Sonny Weems / Marco Belinelli
Micheal Beasly / Hedo Turkoglu / James Jones
Andrea Bargnani / Reggie Evans / Joey Dorsey
Andres Biedrins / Amir Johnson

If bosh says Chicago.

To TOR: Jefferson + Johnson + Hinrich + Bulls 2011 1st Round Pick
To MIN: Deng + Gibson (Draft Cousins)
To CHI: Bosh + Calderon

thats pretty good value back in a S&T, Jefferson is still good and can be flipped for something better if need be but hes pretty solid. Hinrich increases defense, Johnson is a young prospect

Kirk Hinrich / Jarret Jack / Marcus Banks
Demar Derozan / Sonny Weems / Marco Belinelli
Hedo Turkoglu / James Johnson
Andrea Bargnani / Reggie Evans / Joey Dorsey
Al Jefferson / Amir Johnson

+ #13

I like the 2nd trade with Chicago & Minni, netting us Al-Jeff

I don't think it's all that bad.

I like it better than any Beasley trade, even better than bum knee Bynum.

We get a hustle big with Verajao (let's call him Noah light), Jamison replaces some of Bosh's scoring & rebounding & provides a veteran presence. The future 1st pick is just a "nice to have".

I think it's a trade that makes our team better.

Varejao, Hickson, Eyenga, West, 1st round pick ('10 or '11)

not interested in what amounts to paying $15 million for the #29 pick in this draft.

Return to Toronto Raptors
