Sounds like Turk got to him.

We're going no where until he transforms into a shooting guard. He HAS to be dealt for us to do anything or even grow because he's just taking shots away from the younger guys at this point.

I don't see him going unfortunately :-? If a big goes it's Johnson.

PF; Bargnani/ Davis
C: trade/free agent signing..

I just do not understand this. Amir Johnson is excellent defensively and he's going to end up being one of the best bench bigs in the NBA. I think some people don't realize we will continue to be the worst defensive team in the league every single year if we keep Bargnani. This is why he MUST be traded IMO.

That's fantastic.. I am glad he doesn't prefer Toronto!

Thats odd.... you think the same staff that took a 5.6 ppg big to a 13 ppg in the span of 5 months can't at least make Bismack Biyombo at the very least passable? Then your so far up Kanter's @$$ that you can't see the light of day. I think both Bismack and Kanter have their skills and their flaws, I think they will both be good/great players in this league provided they get the opportunity. The fact that Bismack's skill currently lies on the defensive side of the ball resonates with me and that's why I want him on our team, but that does not mean I think any less of Kanter. Why this board feels the need to segregate themselves to each bandwagon is beyond me.

So why don't u put both kanter and bismack at 3 on ur draft board instead of kanter at 4 if u like them BOTH. I'm not far up on kanter's a$$ but the bismack fans refuse to come out of bismack's donkey a$$ and just kept glorify him as the next best thing...trust me they kiss bismack's a$$ more than anyone could imagine, perhaps they are so obsessed with him that they would even consider blowing him.

I wouldn't read to much into this. His English is not the best and he just listed the teams at the top along with the big city in Washington. He doesn't seem like a Turkoglu personality at all.

DraftExpress Jonathan Givony
Derrick Williams was emphatic about the fact that he is a small forward in the interviews today. Repeated it over and over again.

If only BC finds a way to trade up for him I'd be smitten. A small forward is the only position that leaves no questions post-draft for us in terms of gluts, etc.

If you wanna make a splash do 2011 #5 + 2012 Unprotected + Ed Davis for D.Cousins and 2011 #7

2011 #5 + 2012 Unprotected + Ed Davis are good enough for an all-star player

Not to mention Davis to Cousins would be a straight downgrade.

Or, we could bring him off the bench. Problem with that, though, is that it might hinder his trade value if he doesn't play well off the bench.

Heh, what a quandary BC has on his hands.

If he brings him off the bench, it will mean he hasn't been able to deal him. I don't think I've ever seen a situation where someone successfully goes from being a team's #1 option on offense to coming off the bench (well, besides an injury situation like Brandon Roy). Things only seem to work out once the player has been moved. It makes sense to cut the cord and regroup with a deal where we get a pick/young talent/cap savings (or perhaps getting a similar player from another team in the hopes that a change of scenery can make things work, but I don't see any appealing deals like that).

You guys watching the combine on NBATV? Chad Ford was just talking about us potentially drafting Val but there's still a lot of homework to be done.

You did read everything I wrote right??? I pretty much spelled out why, Bismack's main skill (i.e. his focus) is on the defensive end. I value his ability to produce on that end more then I do Kanter's ability to score.

Of course he did because nobody want to use a top three pick on an undersized PF. His agent did his homework.

well, that was the position he used to play before college. I definitely can see him being more effective at SF than PF, much like Melo/Beasley are.

Sort of scanned thru it fast but yeah not really reading it entirely  coz I don't really care anymore, I wanna stay far and far away from the bismack vs. kanter debate coz I was stuck into the war room in the draft board the last 2 months endlessly debating on who's better who's not....I'm just glad Kanter is long gone now so I can focus onto other prospects.
