There was no misuse of Dowtin. It was the FO's decision to not give him a contract, not Nurse.

Nurse wasted the majority of Dowtin's 50 game NBA eligibility collecting DNPs.

I’ll never understand what some people on this board see in Downtin. He’s been on 3 other teams and none of them thought highly enough of him to keep him around. He’s a career 24% 3 point shooter and we’re a team desperate for any decent 3 point shooter to create space. He was never going to work here, he doesn’t solve any of our problems, he’s 26 and unlikely to improve at this point in his career, I haven’t seen people so obsessed about a nobody since Roko Leni Ukic.

Just goes to show how bad our roster is in terms of guard depth. We're begging for a 12th man on a roster to play minutes for us lol.

Tough to beat Denver if they have the two best offensive players in the series. This is the case so far this series but wasn't vs Suns or wolves.

which is also why I didn't get why people thought Lakers being so great on offense game 1 and losing by double digit most of the game was not a big deal.

What people saw was every time Dowtin did play he did good things. Excellent on ball defense vs guards, which was hurting us all year. Solid passing, not forcing things, getting the team into the offense. Old school steady PG play. Yes it would be better if he shot the three better. But he is an NBA player as Boucher and his pod co-host said recently
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

I wanted to see him get more minutes because I believed he deserved it with his hard work and being a constant pro. Outside of that, I don't really see a future with him on our team.

If murray keeps this up then lakers will have to start doubling him....which means look for a huge 2nd half from jokic.

he is not going to score much this game. he is a seeing a body when he makes a move. And that body is usually AD lol.

He also isn't the type of player that takes low quality shots on doubles/help. He moves the ball even though a shot for him probably better in some of these scenarios.

Either if Fred stays or Fred leaves and we get a starting PG, Dowtin can be the first backup still. Even as 3rd PG he'd be valuable

This is the issue with jokic on defense. He is not playing any right now cause he has 2 fouls.

Jokic and the others can't waste this Murray game.

Nuggets can easily lose this if someone doesn't help Murray.
