Hartenstein underrated in the right matchups.

OG is going to be missed. He was the second most important player on this team after Barnes. The annoyance with his offense from some here was always funny because he never actually played selfish on offense. He took his few spots but always fit in. Unfortunately, you needed to give something to get something and this team needs offense that badly that you had to give up the best 3 and D player in the league to get it. This is again a function of how bad the front office has been in recent years to the point they had to trade a guy who should have been close to untouchable.

But there is probably a component of OG no longer wanting to play here with how badly the last couple of seasons have gone.

OG is great no doubt but this is called the honeymoon phase.

He's waaaaay better than RJ and actually knows his role.

I think everyone knows that already.

The trade was for IQ, not RJ.

There is very few if any Raptor fans that didn’t appreciate and love OG

If you want to change your comment to, maybe now appreciates OG more now that he’s gone, it would make more sense

It’s Masai and Masai alone that went to sleep after the title and didn’t care or bother to even try and get guys like OG any help what so ever. He had zero faith in OG, Fred or Siakim, otherwise he wouldn’t have wasted 4yrs of their careers surrounding them with bums

It's American fans that will now appreciate him more

Chillllllll we need to see what rj is like before panicking

OG fits with their starts far more than RJ. RJ is a guy who needs the ball and isn't a great 3pt shooter and a far worse defender than OG. It's obvious that he was gonna have a far greater impact. RJ's probably never gonna be OG level's of effectiveness on a championship level team, but this team needs his skillset more than the knicks and he's still young.

He was a willing cutter but you need good passing/ball handling to take advantage and the other guys just aren't in that style.

yeah a lot of that passing is from divincenzo...we'll have to see if we can get caruso at the deadline.

Yeah, it's ridiculous how we couldn't find scoring talent to play with him and had to trade him instead to get it.

yea, pretty much this. RJ being 23 gives some confidence. There is still a path for him to get better (better 3 point shooting and defending more /lower usage). Maybe being back home gets him to play better. OG is obviously a more impactful player than IQ or RJ right now. IQ does have a chance to be better in the next year or 2 though.

Happens when you construct a roster with only 3 guys having any semblance of value.

Yep if the FO did their job they'd have gotten the right shooters to build around the big 3 foundation. It didn't have to be this way

American fans are ruthless, two bad games and they will want him traded.

Instead, we got Dennis Schroder.

Aichuwa moving around like he's not half asleep. He typically plays half asleep except when he touches the ball. Nurse and Darko both enabled him. Tibs will bench him. If this doesn't change Aichuwa over time, nothing will.

If Masai don’t get his crap together, the next guy wanting out is going to be Scottie Barnes

It's a glaring issue now. They gave up their only bench scoring. If Brunson or Randle get injured that team is screwed lol. They're going to go hard after Donovan Mitchell.
