Top 4 odds:
6 = 37.2%
7 = 32.0%

Then the odds of staying at 6 is 8.6%

Finish 6 odds to keep pick 45.8%
Finish 7 odds to keep pick 32.0%

Difference is 13.8%

(I should get full marks as I showed my workings lol)

And just no way of catching Portland really. damn.

If they were playing Brogdon, Grant, Ayton consistently, they'd be winning more games, but alas...

I admire what Silver and Dumars are trying to do to change the mentality and get guys to play 82 games, it's good for the league. But that really only applies to good teams. They still have a lot of work left to do to address bad teams not playing guys...and that includes the Raptors. Right now they are saying all the right things but it's still not much different than years past at the bottom of the standings.

MEM and POR wins coupled with a RAP loss would be a perfect night.

Wonderful loss to the pistons. Didn’t think we could lose.

Looking at this part of the schedule earlier I thought we would win one of if not both of the Blazer and Piston games. The fact that we lost both is great, I hope Orlando is mature enough to win both of the games coming up. Sometimes young talented teams overlook the garbage teams.

Memphis sitting Jaren Jackson for this one was smart. They’re going overdrive for this Tank battle. We wasted too many games earlier in the season.

Memphis losing tonight to CHA is brutal... but so were their 2! loses to Portland last week.

They also seem to have a tough sked left. I am nonplussed.

We're not out tanking Memphis. I see way too many losses coming up for them.

Both teams have a chance to win 3-4 games tops for the rest of the season.

Bane is about to return any day now. Memphis will definitely start winning games with him and Jackson.

Don't look now, but Blazers are only 3.5 games back of us.

He's been ready to come back for a while now, they're delaying his return intentionally.
The news of him coming back soon is good but I expect him to play every other game. They'll definitely rest him a ton.

Important to remember MEM has less incentive to finish bottom 6 than us. To them 6th vs 7th is a pretty small difference. They might value getting Bane reps more than staying 1 spot lower. Then again, they might not
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

I’m not sure, but I’d think Memphis knows what they have. It’s just a matter of getting everyone healthy (and out of trouble) at the same time

I have us losing the next 4 for sure.

Really, the only games remaining where have a shot are the 2 against Washington. I think they could win one of the 2 in Miami to close the season IF the Heat are locked into seeding but that is looking unlikely with the #4-#8 seeds being so close.
