Think it was pretty obvious the last couple of games that derozan had nothing to do with our **** stretch and has a minimal impact on our success... Our entire team was on fire until the last 10 games. And now everyone looks off.. Pretty simple really... Whatever though, people can keep thinking what they want.

Yep

Always great when the two Bargnani fans chime in with their opinions

LOL what does that have to do with Barg? Anyways...

Casey and this team needs to sit down, and call for multiple hard practices going through EVERYTHING thoroughly. This team still thinks they can choose to not play every possession and think they're as good as they were early this season.

Soft? Depends on your definition.

I'd say they've been conditioned into looking for their own offense in favor of setting screens, moving off the ball, and moving the ball for better shots. The team culture is not team-centric. They don't play for each other, only for themselves.

And it's pretty much a perimeter-only setup. Offensively, 90% initiates from the perimeter. Defensively, if the guards don't put in the effort to fight through screens or keep up with their man, then the bigs get left on an island and bear the brunt of the blame.

It's pretty clear that it's a systemic issue. Get rid of the head.

The talent is mediocre, getting rid of Casey won't do anything

BC said it best, it's always been a talent issue... as well as a coaching and scheme issue. There's only so long you can pretend, I'mm sure we'll get back to winning at some point which won't erase how often we get out couched and played by teams in our 'tier.'

I don't get it.

Why are people blaming the players for the structure that they've been put in?

The Hawks team is mostly made up of a bunch of no names and journey men, but look at them. Look at the difference with the Warriors now. Sometimes a simple coaching change can really do a team good.

As much as I hate to admit it. It probably is. One other team tho that we can beat is the Nets.

Teague>Lowry

Ross is useless. Can't believe he has somehow hung onto a starting role for so long. Dude is 24 and you can't rely on him for anything. Val isn't producing anything either.

Aside from the load Demar is carrying tonight, everyone else is playing like scrubs.

Bargnani might be available. We should look at picking him up to give us some size and spacing

Why? Because he told the fans that we are going to win a ship this year?

I'm not read to question Masai. But I am starting to think our roster is meh and Ross/JV (moreso Ross) was a bad pick in hindsight.

Like I said, derozan plays the wrong brand of basketball. When he "gets going" the entire team usually gets nothing. The team usually plays the best when he's not involved.

If our draft picks don't develop its not on Casey, it's not his fault JV and Ross are inconsistent

Anyone want to help me buy the Hawks?
I have about $13,000 in my savings, someone spot me the difference?
I think he's either going to stay, or leave.
