These Rico highlights are really helping my mentals. Lol Idk, I went through a breakup with my long time girlfriend this summer and honestly it killed all of my motivation and passion for life because I feel like a big piece of me is now gone, but these highlights for some reason are giving me some ray of sunshine. I love this sport and this team and following them is a big hobby for me, watching our team play is healing me I guess. I know it’s weird but what can I say  .

Ya scottie is naturally going to fill out his frame. He really reminds me of magic on the permiter then his finishes and drives remind me of barkley. What a player.

Just needs a 3 ball and a quick pull up - thats top 3 player in the league in a few seasons

Yeah he's very skilled for his frame/size and he is taking the Siakam route to develop, the toolbox he had pre-draft till now is night and day.

I remember I got flamed at the idea of him filling out and gaining more muscle when we drafted him.

+1 We have lots to look forward to with arguably the 2nd most talented roster in the history of the franchise, almost all of them still developing.

Hang in there 720.

I've been through a few myself my dude, 1 of them a 8 year, and time is your biggest Savior. Time heels all and is undefeated. Cut off all contact with her, hit up the gym, buy new clothes, and watch Raptors content. A couple more months and that empty feeling will die down and you'll be yourself again. Until then, fake it until you make it so to speak.

That’s his point though. Luka isn’t amazing at those things, yet by using his body and changing his pace he is able to get to the rim at will.

Luka's one of the hardest players in the league to emulate in that his skill level is so high and he strings together a lot of little things to create his advantages.

Yeah, Luka's special. I just hope to see a lot more Scottie on-ball this year. I feel like we wasted a lot of development opportunity last season by keeping the ball out of his hands. Scottie's primary play-type on many advanced stats services was "rolling big", dude was running around setting screens more often than anything else. The organization should be trying to develop a superstar not a utility role player.

Wasn't he more on the ball post all star break?

We should step back with these hot takes a bit.

Bro how can you definitely say they know what they are doing while knowing that they "hardly ever ran plays" for their star rookie. Like run some plays for your future superstar stop making him "pay his dues" so that he can fit in 4th in the "hierarchy"

Not running PNR's for Scottie is mal practice. This egalitarian style offence will doom us in the playoff every single time if he keeps on using it.

Let me get this straight. Nick Nurse's coaching turns a defense first, pass first player without a shot coming into the league into the Rookie of the Year who is considered one of the most promising players and most valuable assets in the league ..... and he is ruining Scottie's development?

Are you me :( ? I also went through a breakup 3 months (long term as well) ago and i didn't see this coming. I'm in my 30s and she was my everything and I wanted to build a life with her. I hit a setback but I'm doing what I can to move on. For example, going to the gym more, eating healthier, playing ball once a week with these bum ass knees, studying and planning a trip for sept-oct with our without friends. Also seeing a specialist this Monday, let see where this takes me.

Life is **** rn but it will get better right?
