I'm thinking we can probably get a much better package elsewhere.

OG for Duncan Robinson who says no?

Never overpay one dimensional players. Robinson is a cautionary tale. Don't get stuck with a mediocre or bad contract.

Davis Bertans too! At most they should get the MLE like Ross.

Trade them Fred NOW so they will make the play-in and not be in the running for Scoot/Wemby.

If Fred really wants the MOST money he'd be cool with signing in Orlando with no state taxes.

Suggs, Ross and Caleb Houstan for FVV and Juancho Hernangomez.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/s/suggsja01/splits/2023

He's played 20+ mins this season 16 times and has been able to shoot 32% from 3 in those games. He's 21 and maybe worth sticking it out. I suspect they scouted him extensively when considering the #4, which was Barnes.

It might be worth giving Siakam/FVV/OG to Orlando and the Bulls for basically nothing. They represent our main competition for the #5 spot.

Mainly kidding, but is there a chance we can get Orlando's 2023 pick (protected 1-5) back, if they're intent on getting to the play-in this season.

I actually like Kuminga, Wiseman, and Moody plus picks for OG if that deal is on the table.

PG Barnes - Trent - Flynn/Dowtin
SG Trent - OG - Banton
SF OG - Siakam - Banton/Wieskamp
PF Siakam - Precious - Birch

Would anyone take a chance at Jonathan Isaac? He just came back from missing almost 2 years due to various injury. Still only 25...but looks like Orlando is moving forward with Wagner, Banchero, Carter and Bol. If Isaac is finally healthy...is he worth a look?

We already have Simmons at home (in Barnes). If we build around Barnes, we need shooters and a rim protector; basically the 2019 76ers that lost to us on the last shot. IMO they were a really good team.

Not the worst Ben Simmonss proposal. Raptors would basically be taking their current game plan to an extreme. Double down on length, rebounding and defense and completely punt half court offense

Yeah, I like Isaac's game but from a character standpoint, he just wouldn't fit here.

They have Koloko, who I believe they think can be like Walker Kessler, or else if they really wanted Walker Kessler they would've just drafted him.

They could draft Scoot if they move up to 2, or Brandon Miller, Jett Howard, Gradey Dick, etc.

I don't see him being traded. But would be an interesting fit and would also depend on how they want to structure the roster, only so much room for 3/4 position players. I think the injury risk severely discounts his value overall. Our culture is 23-30. Maybe some should rethink their approach?
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.

Hi Raptors faithful, Lakers fan here lurking to read about where your team is at.

One thing I've noticed is discussion around NOP trading the Lakers pick swap (often seen it around OG trades). Imo there's no way NO does this until after the lottery, because they simply have no idea where the pick lands and don't have any urgency to win now. They're on a 10 game losing streak and it's perfectly possible that their 13th position goes higher while the Lakers pick drops lower, there's a possibility either pick jumps, etc. Imagine David Griffin trading that only to see that it lands on the first or second pick, and you did it just to upgrade a .500 team on the cusp of the playin.

If that was Masai, what would you think of him?

What about Boucher and Flynn for Josh Hart and Greg Brown (expiring)?
