Yup he got crowned.

I only tuned in at the start of the second quarter so missed his first stint in the game where he put up good numbers. His second stint he was struggling a lot on the defensive end and is back on the bench as a result.

I'm glad the coach is holding him accountable for his mistakes, its the right way to develop players unlike a certain coach we have over here with his treatment of a certain Italian.

He was on the bench because of fouls. I think he was playing it conservative in the first half, but ended up picking up fouls anyway and getting posterized twice. Rytas is just playing tight on their shooters to control the game. So far it's working.

Great block by JV. Sealed the C and then left him to make the block on the dribble penetration.

Nice alley oop finish off the high pick and roll.

JV drawing a couple of fouls off iso's on the baseline too.

With so little time left and the score being almost tie, wouldn't it be better for Donetsk to let Rytas tie it up and send it into overtime? Gives them more time to try and win by 10.

Val barely got any touches today. Its incredibly how they dont use him and he still can score the double digits.

Weird game. Who does Rytas play in the next round?

Yea, of course. But that strategy only works if all the Rytas coaches/players come from the Javale McGee school of moronics.
Even if Rytas were 2 points down and Donetsk had the ball the arebn't allowed to score in their own basket.
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.
