Sexton is just a plain better shooter/scorer. You have 3 seasons worth of data and he has been a nearly 40% shooter from 3 for his career and his mid range shooting has steadily increased. This isn't just catch and shoot or assisted baskets either. His FTR is better than Siakam's as well.

Sexton as a freshman in college was a dynamic scorer, Siakam has steadily had to work and at his absolute best he was a league average jump shooter.

CJ McCollum??? That's like a 3rd option on a championship team! Cavaliers should trade him, tank and try to get a top 5 pick so they can select a true superstar.

And to be real CJ is better suited to compliment a true #1 option because he can play off the ball and provides volume shooting as a spacer. Sexton's percentages may mirror McCollum, but he's a lower volume 3 point shooter who mostly capitalizes off open looks and is currently shooting 64% on open 3s.

I'd disagree, but it's not unreasonable.

It's early, but what if the Cavs and Raptors essentially end up in the same situation this year in terms of playoff seeding and resulting playoff performance? I think we can all agree the Raptors core is further along in their development, the supporting cast is better and have better coaching.
